Introduction and conclusion Introduction Entrepreneurship is today’s most rising income earners among the young people graduating from universities and colleges. These are individuals with great business visions or ideas that can transform lives by creating more employment opportunities and above all create more wealth in terms of profits. An important concept to note is that a good number have these viable ideas and dreams but sit on them becoming “wishpreneurs” but the distinguishing factor is real entrepreneurs go ahead and take the risk in a calculated manner and turn their ideas into profit making, lives changing empires(Schermerhorn et al 2011, p.120). The article looks at the characteristics, challenges of these entrepreneurial souls and assesses their worth or impact to the economy while capturing the financing aspect and the risks management to mitigate the same from losses.

ConclusionEntrepreneurship entails good leadership qualities such as confidence, risk taking and management skills that can ensure a vision or an idea is transformed from a dream to a reality (Schermerhorn et al 2011, p.302). An entrepreneur therefore must be able to asses economic and social implication impact of the business so as to get a proper direction to mitigate risks and adopt a proper business strategy that will attract financiers or investors that will see the business grow form a small scale medium enterprise to a blue chip company thus create more job opportunities and change lives by injecting more capital to the economy.
