However, the practice is associated with critical concerns that demands high attention. As such, expertise in conducting these concerns determines the success of the management process. Therefore, I present my informed reflection notes in this paper, which explores various aspects of management. Understanding self and others Different individuals have varied personalities, which mainly state our habits and beliefs. Sometimes our characters may fail to be in coherent with our environment. For instance, one’s characters may clash with corporate ethics; thus, demanding adjustments to blend well with the industry.

Consequently, understanding how to modify our characters to suit the desired environment is essential. As a means of realizing such an aspect, an individual must initially have knowledge about self. Thus, I have learned the need of understanding my strengths and weakness, a practice that has enabled me capitalize on my strengths while watching my weakness to augment with the intention of enhancing productivity. In the course of operations related and unrelated to work, we frequently associate with others.

Our performances are highly influenced by the activities of the people we relate with; thus, understanding other people’s personality is essential. . This has enabled me establish a strong work force, which has succeeded in driving my organization’s activities effectively. Communicating honestly and effectively Effective Communication and honesty are vital competencies in all relationships. Good communication is a primary factor in the quest to attain success in all organizations. Communication is not a simple process as portrayed since it involves the transfer of information to an intended recipient.

Communication poses a challenge to most leaders today since poor communication may limit both relationships and careers. Communication entails expressing ourselves and allowing others to have a glimpse of what we are thinking. Efficient communication ability entails listening to the other party. An essential element of communication in all organizations is to listen first. This includes listening to self and to other people. However, these skills can be inculcated through the learning processes articulated in the society’s moral values especially honesty.

Efficient communication influences the level of trust, enhances collaboration and efficiency. Strong relationships often emerge from honesty and good communication, which are instrumental in developing emotional connections. Furthermore, integrity is important since it allows one to do right and respects all persons (Smith 2011). Consequently, lack of integrity can lead to emotional pain to the persons involved destroying the trust needed in the relationship. Efficient and honest communication is influenced by a multiplicity of factors such as the environment and the attitudes of the sender and the recipient respectively.
