Essay 1 My first essay looked at highlighting the manner in which organizations look to employ strategies pertaining to recruitment, selection and induction. The essay looks towards providing a complete picture of the different things which are included in the selection, recruitment and induction process and highlights the different essentials. The essay which I written also brings important facts not only from the perspective of the employer but also from the perspective of the employee and highlights the manner in which different things need to be included while looking to plan for the future human resource need. It was clearly evident that every part of the process starting from recruitment, selection and induction is important and any error or loopholes in any areas will have a negative impact which will impact the selection mechanism to a large extent. The entire essay which has been written has looked to include different things and has been organized in a manner where different facets are covered. This has been matched by the fact that different sources have been used and have been properly adjudged and used so that the mechanism provides maximum gain. This has helped to get a positive feedback and has highlighted the different aspect which when improved will help to ensure that the process of recruitment, selection and induction is effective. There has been certain criticism as the paper lacks depth and is primarily due to the fact that the topic is very broad and needs to be narrowed down. Overall the impetus has been given to identify the different mechanism associated with recruitment, selection and induction and developing a process which will help to work on different areas so that better human resource management practices can be developed. Essay 2 The second essay is much more descriptive and concentrates on identifying the different imperatives of recruitment, selection and induction process by looking at the same from different perspective. The essay which I had written analyzes the same from the perspective of human resource management which helps to understand the manner in which it is an important criterion for planning for the future. The labour laws and labour unions and the impact they have on recruitment, selection and induction has been stressed on. This helps to understand the different imperatives of a sound recruitment, selection and induction process which all organization needs to have so that planning and looking for the different resources which will be used in the future improves. The second essay which I had done is thereby an extension of the first essay and brings about the manner in which recruitment, selection and induction process can be deter developed. This makes the essay to fill the gaps which were present in essay 1 and provides better directives through which better planning for the future can be exercised. This will help to focus on areas which have a role in shaping the overall performance and will determine the use of human resource function. Integrating and reading both the paper together will help the readers to examine and gather different valuable information which would lead towards improving the overall understanding of recruitment, selection and induction process and will bring about a change in the behaviour while looking to develop the human resource planning framework. I thereby expect that during the future course and examination I will be examined on different aspects and facets associated with recruitment, selection and induction process. I feel that I will be able to provide complete justification and knowledge about the manner in which human resource planning as a function has developed and is important as the different imperatives will help to focus on areas which are of prime importance. This will help to bring about a complete transformation in determining the different steps which will help to develop the required recruitment, selection and induction process. The fact that my report didn’t focus on providing an example could be an area of questioning as its applicability would have been better understood through an example. Nevertheless the report which has been done by me is comprehensive and tends to provide complete information and knowledge about the different areas and will thereby help to improve the overall mechanism of planning in the future. Course Reflection The overall experience and learning which I have been able to imbibe from the course has been phenomenon as it has helped to focus on areas which will improve my future working in the same field. The different learning which I have been able to garner will be tested in the real world and practical usage of the same will help me. Since, I have understood the different areas associated with recruitment, selection and induction process so it provides me an avenue to work in the future and will provide a complete directive through which I will be able to bring about a change in my behaviour. The process of learning has helped to understand the different areas which fascinates me and is of interest to me. This thereby helps to develop the required fundamentals and focuses on working on the different areas through which my future opportunities will multiply. This has brought about a complete change in my outlook of the human resource function which I thought was a simple process but after undergoing the different aspect realized that it is a lot complicated and requires focusing on different areas through which overall planning and working for the future will be decided. I am also happy with the manner the course progressed and the manner it helped to bring about a change in my behaviour as focusing on areas which I had no knowledge and understanding those has broaden my understanding. To match with it I have been able to use it in the practical world which will help to determine the different areas through which overall prospective for the future and the long run will improve. Overall the impetus has been given to identify the different mechanism associated with recruitment, selection and induction and developing a process which will help to work on different areas so that better human resource management practices can be developed. The course has thereby been a great learning phase and the support which I have received from the tutor, classmates and others have been phenomenon. This has contributed in a positive manner regarding my understanding of the recruitment, selection and induction process and has helped me to understand the entire course in a better way. I thereby feel that the course will help me in the future and will help me to get a good job in the field of human resource management as the applicability of the different principles and learning will help me in my professional life. This will transform my life and bring about a complete change in my behaviour as it will help to focus on the different areas and will help to improve my complete knowledge and understanding regarding the manner it is being used in organization. This will thereby help me in my future endeavour and will assist me in carrying out the different professional activities in a better way.
