In order to create world peace that is lasting and irrefutable, the world would have to create a new cultural identity that is based on the foundational growth of a new sense of the economy. The question of peace is a complex social question that creates movements, debate, and political platforms. However, true change would have effects that are far more in depth than a theory of world peace can discuss from one point of view. Peace is a concept that brings to mind a harmonious world where one nation has no need to challenge another.

The implications of peace would suggest that the cultural point of view on material wealth, proprietary knowledge, and territorial ownership and occupation would have to change to a point where these issues had no effect on political agendas, that the idea of taking something from another would be beyond the consideration of a people. More even that this, the concept that ideology was a reason to become adversarial would have to be eliminated from the conscious mind of all cultures. This would mean that thinking differently from one another would have no politically emotional The reasons that one nation goes to war with another nation is almost always based on wealth.

As one nation covets the resources of another nation, the quickest route to owning a portion, if not all of those assets is to take them through aggression. The foundation of the concept of wealth is power - and as one nation has the power to control the resources, governments, and people of another nation, a great deal of power has been established. The first issue that Kant (1795) raises in his manifesto on perpetual peace is that a treaty must be designed without the concept of a future use for war.
