Extract of sample "Natural-Supernatural Distinction"

It is simple to see that cultures attach more power in the supernatural. They believe that the natural comes and is influenced by the supernatural. Therefore, they have a clear distinction between natural and supernatural. In addition, all cultures around the world have their own supernatural beliefs. It is hard to find a culture that does not have cultural beliefs, which are based on supernatural beings. However, it is important to note that different cultures have different ways in which they express their supernatural beliefs.

In my opinion, the natural-supernatural distinction exists in all cultures. The only difference is that different cultures have different ways in which they relate to nature and the supernatural. In addition, the natural-supernatural distinction is relative. This is because what may appear as supernatural to one culture may not be supernatural to another culture. However, the natural-supernatural distinction does indeed exist in all cultures.Reference Welch, Robert, and Kirk Endicott. Taking Sides: Clashing Views in Anthropology.
