Thus, it can be concluded that this plant can actually assist in treating diabetic and hypertension disorder and thus we as the research team would like to recommend that diabetic and hypertension patients in the United States should start to use this kind of treatments. Introduction The reason why this study was undertaken was to investigate whether the hypothesis that Trigonella Foenum-gaecum (Leguminosae) cures or treats diabetes and hypertension is true. This plant extract, Trigonella Foenum-gaecum (Leguminosae), that this study was designed to investigate is used by majority of the native people living in Morocco to treat diabetes and hypertension.

From the surveys that have been done in the past, it is shown that this plant extract is the most widely used plant extract to treat diabetes and hypertension in the country of Morocco. It has about 20% of people using it for this purpose (Larhsini 123). Its use is rated back to many years ago and no one even the oldest in this community can be able to tell when it began to be used. Not only in Morocco are plants used for their medicinal properties. From the latest World Health Organization estimates, it is estimated that around 80% of the world population use plant extracts to cure several diseases and to prevent other some of whom use this extracts of this plant (Larhsini 123).

Most of the other countries where plants are used for their medicinal properties are in Asia and they include China, Korea Japan, and many others. However, not many people in Europe and America trust herbal remedies in curing disorders of any kind despite several research that have been made. It is well known that plant extracts are an excellent and exceptional source of complex chemicals possessing a wide variety of biological activities, the extracts of this plant being one of them. As a result plants have a great potential for development of new drugs and biological entities some of them being digitoxin from Digitalis purpurea or Vinblastin and vinchristin from Catherantus roseus.

It is also known that as by today, plant-based prescription medicines come from plants belonging only to 95 of the known species Worldwide. Furthermore, from the number of species of flowering plant that have been investigated, there is about 120 therapeutic agents which have been isolated for commercial purposes from about 90 species of plants (Larhsini 123). So far, this plant has been investigated in several ethno-botanical surveys. Moreover, several studies on pharmacological properties have been taken to understand the chemical composition of this plant that enables it to cure diabetic and hypertension disorders.

Furthermore, there have been various biological activities that have been tested on this plant to investigate how it works (Larhsini 123). Other major studies dealing with biological activities of plants that have been conducted discuss antimicrobial, molluscicidal, antimalarial, toxicology and antitumor-related activities. Most of these have been conducted with an aim of identifying and characterizing the efficacies of traditional treatments in order to provide instruction to local population.

In addition, they have been conducted to establish relationship between the chemical, biological and
