Jobs believes in social learning theory, in which individuals will model behaviours of their leaders if they witness reward for their activities. By setting high standards for himself, he inspires others to achieve the same results and his staff model these behaviours when they witness the applause and other benefits Jobs receives when he presents his new innovative products to the global audience.
The first of these reasons tends to be a direct impact on the consumer preference as far as Apple positioning its products is concerned. Apple has very effectively made use of strategies which allow its products to remain highly profitable in the industry.
