Triangle Solutions of Institute Business Proposal Triangle Solutions is a company which functions to provide improvised and enhanced services to the consumers who may not be satisfied with the services already being provided in the market by other players. The company is now planning to provide a new kind of amusement park for the consumers. Amusement Park would be located in Washington D.C. as the city is the capital and has a business look to it. The company would like to bring the city a new kind of ‘fun’ look with this amusement park.

Educational places like Smithsonian also exist there but addition of an amusement park would be a breath of fresh air for the people who live there and also the tourists. (Brain, 2011) Triangle Solutions would design this park as such that it would be entertaining for both, the adults and children. The amusement park would be designed on the concept of “Lord of the Rings”. As amusement parks already exist on the concept of Disney and Harry Potter, other successful stories like “Lord of the Rings”, should also be given due attention, in the form of an amusement park.

“Lord of the Rings” being a successful story and a trilogy of movies is very well-known by all and it has fans amounting to that of Star Wars and Harry Potter. The plan of the park would be based on the map of places mentioned in Lord of the Rings. The Amusement Park would welcome its customers with the “Shire”, the luscious green mountains and valleys where the main character Frodo Baggins lived. This place would include going through Frodo’s house, and the small pubs and houses present in the valley.

Here, the journey of the Shire would end. Not to mention, that characters like Frodo Baggins, Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey, Peregrin Took, and Meriadoc Brandybuck would be present too, to give a feel of the Shire. Next would be the Elven forest of Lothlórien, where the Lady Galadriel who took care of Frodo and bestowed him with gifts would be present to welcome the customers. The Fangorn Forest, where Frodo meets the giant talking trees the Ents, would be the next stop to give the park a more adventurous feel, with characters dressed up as these trees.

Then the customers would move on to Helm’s Deep, the dark place underground where Sauron’s Orcs would surprise the customers as they surprised the character Frodo Then the city of Minas Tirith would loom in front of the people, the city which was situated on mountainous terraces, and was attacked by Sauron’s forces. Its majestic white towers would be there to welcome the customers as they were viewed to be in the movie. Moving on, there would be Paths of Death where there would be the spirits of the dead soldiers that are asked for help against Sauron’s army.

This would be a dark place with white lights posing as the spirits. Finally the customers would proceed to the cave where Frodo comes across the spider who bounds him with its web, and right after that the final stop of Mount Doom, where the ring is to be destroyed is placed. The character of Gollum would be present here, annoying the customers as he had annoyed Frodo in the movie. The whole park will be designed in a way to give a realistic feeling of the Frodo’s journey as in the novel. The industry growth of amusement parks in the US has experienced a decline because of the economic recession prevalent there.

This new kind of amusement park would pose to increase consumer confidence in the industry of entertainment. The industry revenue in 2010 was $10656 million. The revenue growth was $4.6 million. The number of enterprises was 484 units. This industry employed 104749 units. With this new amusement park, new jobs would open; there would be increase in revenue growth and in the overall industry revenue. Promotional channels would be used to sell tickets for the new amusement park. There would be billboards on freeways inviting the customers to visit the park.

A website would be designed to give the customers information on the pricing of the tickets and promotional strategies. The tickets would be priced in line with the pricing of other players in the industry. Six Flags, prices its tickets around 60$, Triangle Solutions would price the ticket at $50 for adults and $40 for children, and discounts on weekends for families, dropping the price to $40 for adults and $30 for children. (Amusement Parks in the US, 2011) Collaborative events would be held here also, on days like Christmas and Easter, special discounts would be offered to the customers along with collaborating with companies like Coca Cola, Pepsi, and Dr.Pepper. This large project would bring benefits to the economy and to the people as well, and its total duration time for construction would amount up to be around five years.
