Total quality pointer paper Total quality pointer paper Define quality and its elements Quality is an aspect that consumers eagerly refer to when explaining unfavorable or favorable service, good or experience. There is no single definition to the word quality because quality is determined on a personal basis, but there key aspects or elements that are used to define and measure quality for businesses or organizations. This paper tries to define quality and its elements. Quality can be referred to itself as basically relational.

Therefore, Quality is a continuous or dynamic state linked with services, people, processes, products and environment that exceeds or meets people’s expectation and assists produce superior value of the good or service. For instance, Quality entails developing and sustaining relationships by evaluating, expecting and fulfilling stipulated or stated requirements or needs. For instance, it is always the norm to seek zero defects and conformance to needs in order to develop and sustain relationships (George, 1998).

Quality is the ongoing process of consistently producing what customers’ demands or wants while eliminating and reducing errors before and after delivery of services or goods to the customer. Quality has several elements which are:Customer based which is focused on building internal and external customer base. Strategically based which entails an organizational vision, mission, goals and activities that must be attained to attain organizational objectives. Teamwork entails the use of organizational workforce to generate energy that can be used to improve products, services and establish competitive advantages.

Continual process adjustment and improvement which shows that the firm values its employees. Freedom via unity, control and purpose which helps in solving problems within an organization within their scope of ability.Education and training, and employee engagement and empowerment. 2. Describe how the quality pioneer’s use of the total quality elements made the pioneer successful. They will look at the segmentation criteria that allows an organization to determine which bunch of consumers are based suited to serve and which service or product offer will meet both the requirements of its selected segment and do better than their competitors.

In addition, modern pioneers gather information about what customers needs and this in turn helps the firm to provide the consumers with what they want (Simon, 2011). Further, they focus on target marketing which helps them to brand messages on specific market that are more likely to purchase their product or service than other markets. Having specific knowledge about what target market will enable the firm meet the demands of its customers.3. Explain why the elements of quality are useful in today’s environment Elements of quality are important because they define the firm or organization when it comes to treating or dealing with its customer.

This in turn helps an organization know what it needs to do in order to continue providing quality services and products to its customers while outperforming its competitors in the market. 4. What do you foresee about the future of quality? Foreseeing the future in terms of what customers expect and that is what the companies need to deliver. Companies should aim to deliver continuous value to their consumers’ changing needs because there is an ever increasing global marketplace. The future quality hangs in balance because most companies are facing challenges to recruit, develop, train and motivate their people to provide current and future value to services or products.

In addition, knowledge, behaviors and skills need to be uncovered and honed to make sure that people always deliver their best for their firms and consumers. Offering superior services and products to customers has several implications for organizations. Therefore, to keep ahead in terms of quality requires capable people, connectivity, creative solutions and compatible teams. Summarily, quality is a continuous process that focuses on increasing the value of goods and services provided. Further, elements of quality such team work all are geared towards success of the company.
