Global Change Change is the only constant in this world as has been proven with the passage of time. Since change is happening globally, it is only natural to think of it in a way that remains globally acceptable. The change domains take their basis from the ways and means through which people’s attitudes, beliefs and thinking ideologies shape up and how they are aligned to suit the needs and requirements of the people remains an equally important aspect. Change is not at all appreciated by the people because they have to do something different over and over again. However, there are individuals who believe in bringing about a change as well – since they are more inclined to have a sense of optimism within their fore. Global change is therefore much liked by such individuals because they know it is for their own good. However, what they seem to forget is the fact that this change must also be deciphered in a very negative way by the people who do not realize the gravity and extent of the change in the first place. Therefore, change is both good and bad at the same time, and should be realized as such. This paper discusses how the aspect of global change is bringing about a discussion that has both its pros and cons. It will also study the basis of growth, development and the eventual pitfalls that an organization can have in the wake of the global change premise. Moving on with the discussion at hand, change is something that manifests its own basis within the personal as well as the professional lives of the people. They encounter this change as coming about in their personal capacities as well as their professional ones, and hence should be thought of as bringing with it some form of baggage that will have its own consequences and ramifications in the long run. Some people opine that this change element is not one that they would buy because it is filled with uncertainties and issues of a confusing nature. Then again, there are individuals who would readily buy this change and accept it as a norm within their entireties. Thus the global change is something that is understood differently by varied people all over the world, and is transformed due to the cultural, national and religious angles which keep on amending from time to time. It is a fact that global change is not seen as a hindrance by the business communities but then again there are individuals who would never believe it to be a truthful one. The global change is bound to happen within the business realms because things keep on getting changing time and again, and there are significant repercussions of these changes that happen on a global front. The business entities of today are always finding solutions to tackle this change and to adopt it for their own good. If this change is steady, it will make its own basis in a good enough way, but if this change creates problems, then people need to be made aware of the consequences which shall come about in the coming times. Within business, change is important because it takes a whole new look on the things that manifest the change in essence. If the business angles are taken into consideration, the change becomes all the more pertinent as it takes the point of view of all the stakeholders, the customers and the internal publics within the organization itself. Change is therefore one for the long term, and should always be thought of within such settings (Cooper, 2002). The senior management which is entrusted to carry out this change within the companies wants to find out the reason why this change is required and then goes about implementing it within its fore. This change could either be steady or a slow one, depending upon the eventual extents. The business aspect is being scrutinized time and again because global change is happening on a regular basis. The business enterprise needs to understand its due role and how it is being perceived by the professionals all over the world. Since the change is of a global nature, the need is to comprehend how its regional adaptations will be made and eventually incorporated within the related lines of business. The regional offices of a global enterprise would have issues in manifesting the change that is coming about from another region but then again it needs to be done so that everyone remains on the same page. Even though this is a difficult undertaking, its basis is quintessential as it dictates how well the change is and how proper the results would be from a strategic angle. The business domains therefore bank a great deal on what their global partners suggest and how this has been understood by the senior management settings time and again. The requirement is thus set upon analyzing the ways and means through which this change is being incorporated and how well the employees, the stakeholders and the customers understand this change, which is indeed a global change to begin with. The change ideology for the sake of the business hubs and corporations is precisely a very fundamental one as they have to find a way under which their success can be exponentially increased and the losses could be managed which might come about in the wake of unexpected results and wrong forecasts at the beginning of this very change. The need is to find out where the wrongs are being documented and how they are coming about in the wake of the global dominance of work processes, actions and behaviors. Since the change premise is one for the long run, avoiding it would not bring in any results whatsoever, and it is always a good idea to have it within the company’s folds now than in the future. The businesses that are bent upon defying these changes end up in all sorts of problems and catching up with such scenarios would not be deemed as a good omen for the sake of the business that one is talking about here (Austin, 2003). The globally changing business circles are sometimes unwilling to adapt change because they believe it is wastage of resources, and brings up problems of astounding nature. They are also holding the belief that change has to be comprehended at the top most level first and then transformed, transmitted and transported across the board. This has to be the basis of success as far as understanding the premise of global change is concerned, when one links it with the middle management. There are proponents of global change who believe that this is a given within the business domains on a regular basis. They particularly emphasize the due role of change because they believe that it manifests success and makes the employees feel rejuvenated. When the change is of a positive nature, there is reason enough to believe that this change will be for the long term. However, when the change is of a negative effect, then employees within a business setting might get offended, their work tasks will become slower and their morale levels will go down. This is normal human nature that any change is resisted across the board at the beginning but when the individuals are told of the positives that this change will have, and are shown the glimpses of this very change in essence, then they start adopting it because there is no way out of such a conundrum. The change element therefore hampers the smooth working domains of a business and need to be understood in proper contexts by one and all within the organization. On the other hand, the critics of change believe it is an exercise in futility. It would not reap any dividends and hence it would be better if this change premise is taken off the rack once and for all. The role of an organization is to understand how to balance the act between accepting change and simply rejecting it. Perhaps there could be a number of people who decide what the right course of action is for a business enterprise, and thus change will either get manifested or taken off completely. The definitive perspective is the one that draws a great deal of results – both in the short term as well as in the long run scheme of things. The change is always doubled with a belief that something good will come up for the sake of the business, and it would not be shrugged off by the employees who are in charge of one such change. Thus the need is to remain abreast of how change domain is being brought to the top, and how it will gather success within a given timeframe. This change must therefore be very conclusive where it draws upon results from a number of areas and regions. The global change premise is also important because the business enterprises have to follow the orders of the regional offices or even the head office at times. The uniformity of principles and regulations is pivotal because it would dictate the extent of shortcomings that come in and the potential strengths that remain hidden within the basis of this change. Change is therefore something unprecedented as it cannot be forecasted in the beginning, yet its aftereffects and consequences can be judged to a certain extent, and not completely. The supporters of change always appreciate it because it is something fresh and new, while the critics believe that it is something that breaks the norms more than anything else. Both these viewpoints must be balanced off so that sanity could prevail within the related ranks. In essence, the global change premise is an important one for any business in this day and age. This is because it has to compete on different levels with similar organizations and even organizations that are not part of a similar industry. There is a dire need to comprehend where the related change will come in from and to gauge the extent of resentment that the people shall have on a regular basis. The global change is a problem that will linger on for people who do not want to have any change within their fore at all. Since this change is one for the long term, the resentment becomes even more important and critical to comprehend. The change element is destined to receive bitterness because it puts the people in a very critical scenario. The senior management must underpin where the issues have come in from and how these could be settled once and for all by the people who matter the most within such organizations. The change premise is difficult to swallow on a global level because people believe it is a hardship that they would have to take upon their own selves, which is not true. In the end, it would be proper to state that global change will remain as long as the world of business is existent. This is the reason why many corporations eventually succumb to change sooner rather than later. The global change aspect is therefore seen as a reality all over the world because it eventually has to happen no matter how tough the times are or how trying the situations become within the business regimes. The need of the hour is to discern the basis of optimism attached with the global change premise and to remove the pessimism that surrounds this philosophy. The balancing act must come about in a fair enough way without many issues, and this remains pertinent to comprehend in this day and age. What is even more important is the fact that the global change shall be accepted with both arms wide open, because it is needed. The senior management domains within organizations must understand how change shall be manifested and what the manifestations of the same realms are from a strategic perspective. This will set the ball rolling in the right direction and address issues which are of serious significance, all said and done. References Austin, J. (2003).
