Business Ethics Business Ethics An ethical dilemma arose when working in an organization. Employees were paid different salaries which were not according to their job roles. The organization had many workers on a flat hierarchy. Many low hierarchy workers were being paid higher wages than the higher hierarchy workers thereby creating a disagreement and dissatisfaction among the workers. Justice must be done when salaries are decided for each hierarchy within an organization. The workload should also be justified according to the salary plan and benefits of the employee.

Justice is the method that should weigh the above given dilemma of ethics in pay. The advantage of choosing justice over other methods is that it confirms the pay of all employees to one standard within the organization. Second, advantage is that it brings the employers to answer the unethical practice.2. GlaxoSmithKline(GSK) has been providing money in different forms to organizations and individuals to promote its products through different channels. Some reports speculate that some of the activities have not been initiated by GSK management but by the sales team to increase commissions.

The operations which were encouraged by GSK, however, are part of a scheme to make GSK products a household name. The more GSK products are prescribed and used as the only product; a consumer will psychologically demand only GSK products on a second or third visit. The Company may face fines and lawsuits from the government once it is established that the management was involved in the crime, which can result in discontinuation of production. The public as a result of lawsuits can stop trusting GSK products as any discontinuation can harm the public health at large.
