Corporate Intelligence, Corporate Espionage and the Control Process in Management of Discussion of Corporate Intelligence Beingor Being not Corporate Espionage Corporate intelligence is not corporate espionage is a phrase that is not true. The reason is that the line that draws the difference between the two acts is almost inexistence. The similarity between the two industrial acts also outweighs the differences. The two terms use the same information and thus a person cannot establish from what grounds a person is performing corporate intelligence or, on the other hand, on what grounds a person is committing corporate espionage (Calof & Wright, 2008).

Therefore, it is valid to state that corporate intelligence is thus corporate espionage. The two terms also use the information that is available to the public. The only difference that may arise is the way in which the two are carried out. Corporate intelligence is said to be an investigation while corporate espionage is said to be more of creeping without legal basis. However, the two are more the same. Steps in controlling process in management Controlling involves the establishment of values.

The values provide the standards of measurements of the results that the human resource yield. The other step is the measurement of performance. The step involves comparing the work that is being done with the work that had been planned to be done by the work force. The third step enumerates the comparison of the work that is already done with the expectations of the work in the future (Miller, 1999).The fourth step is the correction of the deviations made from the actual plan of performance.

Detection and correction of lapses is carried out in the fourth step.ReferencesCalof, J., & Wright, S. (2008). Competitive intelligence: A practitioner, academic and inter-disciplinary perspective.
