Degree in the banking industry - Admission/Application Essay Example

Degree in the banking industry I intend to attain admission to study at Indiana University and pursue an undergraduate degree in the banking industry. I have special interests to pursue a career in the banking industry. Being a scholar, my principle objective is always to be a brilliant student in my studies, by being top of my class percentile, always maintaining a GPA of 3.6 and receiving recognition from my professors.The reason that drives me to apply in this institution is the business school at Bloomington, known as The Kelley School of business.

This school provides a great environment for students to interact and network with the right persons with similar interests and create connections. Additionally, it equips students to succeed through talent management of student and education on how to be innovative. Being a self-motivated and business-minded individual, I would love be a part of such an experience, which will enable me to achieve great in the business world; as my dream is to work for international institutions such as World Bank and IMF.

I had an opportunity to go for volunteer job in Pakistan and India, to give relief food and medicine to poverty stricken families. Through interaction, I learnt their languages Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and English. I can use it in translation for international students and dignitaries in my dream career and also in this institution. The diversity in language offers my career an astonishing advantage. Work and school will be a challenge as both require most of my time. However, I realized for me to achieve my life goals I have to work and be able to fund my education.

Challenges will not stop my progress as I know in the end I will be able to accomplish my dreams. With my pay from Wells Fargo Bank, I use to support my family and fund my home at the age of 20. At the bank, I have been awarded for being top in sales and top five in Minneapolis. Working at the Bank has expanded my thought and experience. Truly as written by Mofoluwake (2014), experience and skill are essential determinants in job performance (p. 213). Moreover, knowledge gained will enable me be more effective and efficient, not only the bank but also any other employer.
