These classes have taught me the knowledge that I believe will be beneficial to Ameren Corporation. In the Personal Finance concept class, I acquired valuable knowledge entailing to maximizing an individual’s credit score, cleaning up the credit history and cutting down expenses. Additionally, I have knowledge of financial analysis that requires the ability to be able to compare two financial alternatives and select the better choice that best suits the Firm. These skills can benefit the company and the position to a great extent.

Furthermore, my knowledge is complemented by previous work experience as a Finance Sales intern as indicated in my enclosed resume. The position enabled me to develop strong interpersonal communication skills with my clients and colleagues. The position was in a fast paced environment that requires working with time constraints. I analyzed customer financial information and advised appropriately.The following memo is written with the intention of explaining further the Finance internship position that I have recently applied.

The position was found at the monster website with all the job descriptions. The job requires a student either a graduate or undergraduate pursuing a degree in Finance an accredited university. Furthermore, the individual must have completed at least 60 college credits before the start of the internship. A GPA of 2.5 or higher is preferable. Finally, a good understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word combined with strong analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.The position is being offered by Ameren Company based in Maryville, Illinois.

The company is a Fortune 500 with assets of more than 23 billion dollars. It is the largest electric power provider in Missouri, and it ranks as the third largest natural gas distributor in terms of the total number of customers.
