This strength allows the company to make its vision true since the development of adaptive organization and leaders as well as provision of training in order to strengthen the adaptive land force of the nation forms parts of the company vision (Bolm, 2008). This strength helps the company to bring out an Army which understands and which adapts to future conflicts. b. TRADOC leadership- The Combined Arms Center (CAC) commander is dully responsible for the provision of leadership, guidance and supervision to the trainee or recruit and to all schools/centers.

This is done in order to ensure the safety, realism and relevance of training and to ensure the execution of the Army standards. This helps the company towards the shaping of the Army of 2020 hence helping the company to bring its vision into fruition. 2. Competitive advantages TRADOC was established in US back in the 1973 as the overall development command of the US. However, the company has been able to stand the test of time due to its competitive advantages over its predecessors (Jeff, 2008). a. Focus is one of the competitive advantages of TRADOC over other Army missions- TRADOC has adopted focus in its doctrine and training command.

The TRADO arrangement helps the company to solve its span of control problem, helps to combat developments back into its schools; it is highly focused in the tactical organization of the Army, its equipment, doctrine, weapons and the training of its soldiers in one command. It is through focus that the company is able to provide its soldiers with cutting edge training and helps in the provision of quality leaders and soldiers in order to create operational adaptability and intellectual agility which would allow the Army to prevent conflict and shape its environment especially to win the nation’s wars.

Focus is a competitive advantage which has TRADOC on the move ever since it was founded and this has made it be ranked top among other Army missions (Jeff, 2008). b. As an organization, TRADOC is more operationally adaptable- Over time, the Army has developed the capacity and capability to rapidly deliver solutions and innovative capabilities. The Army has worked more on its efforts to maintain a modern Army which has a high state of readiness which can help it to fight and win across a wide range of military operations. c. Digitalization - Digitalization which is the use and application of computer generated communications originated in the US Army back in the early 1990s.

The digital systems were linked equipments and board Army vehicles. The idea of a digitalized battle field originated from this idea of digitalization. Digitalization in the US Army brings about a visual display of the ongoing battle in the battle field to all the weapon and units system to bring about a situational awareness to all leaders and soldiers who are engaged in the battle. The network used in the Army allowed the commander to control, synchronize and command all elements of power with quickness and knowledge which exceeds the commanders of its enemies and this has been a competitive advantage which the Army has adopted over other Army’s. 3. Internal weaknesses The internal weakness facing the Army is the budgetary challenges which have been facing both the Army and the command.
