Personal/Professional development Paper My Mission My career mission is to use my professional knowledge to continuously improve knowledge by bringing in new ideas that are progressive, dynamic, and relevant to the ever-changing business environment. Besides the provision of the new and innovative ways that will be helpful to dong business, I also intend to practice these innovative ideas to see their practicality and worth in propelling businesses in achieving new heights. I dedicate and commit myself to opening new frontiers through competitive ideas, dynamisms, and corporation with the relevant stakeholders in the business environment. My Vision My vision is to be an impeccable professional in business related area who cuts a niche in the competitive business landscape as one of the reliable, efficient, and trusted business mind that can initiate projects, monitor then, analyzed them for the benefit of the business and the community at large. In this reference, I intend to urge and acquire admiration from upcoming professionals in the same field so that they can develop interest and generate energy for achieving self-determination goals in their professional lives. I also intend to cooperate with my colleges in striking higher standards through pulling different knowledge and experience for the purpose of discerning much in the business profession. In this reference, I would want to provide value for the Information technology in businesses. Through information technology, businesses are able to receive information on time and act on them, they are also able to analyzed and construe the implication of several data efficiently, reliably, and take the necessary steps according to the data analyzed. Through synchronized IT in business, we can track all our clients and market our services with ease unlike manual operation without IT assistance. This consideration makes see the opportunity for businesses in the future. The meaning of My Work Life I want my life work to be that of solving problems and making it easier for business to be done using new technology and other innovations. This I believe will put me in a better position in serving the needs of the business entities as well as the community at large. In other way, the meaning of my work life is that which is full of optimism and belief that all is possible with the right efforts and progressive thinking. This is guided by the fact that business is about change and we have to look for ways of making the change be positive and beneficial to the business fraternity. Whom I want to benefit With my professional training, I want to benefit all, this is because the services and the technological advancement that I intend to put into place cuts across everybody I the society and thus all will be taken care of in my discharge of professional knowledge. The business people will be easily connected with the consumers and thus marketing of products can be enhance by the organizations, on the other hand, through technology, consumers can make purchase online and avoid the tedious process of travelling to the stores. I therefore wants to come up with a business strategy that is beneficial to all. Conditions I like to Work in I like working in conditions where there is order and clarity, this would interprets to mean that there is a defined chronological order through which information flow back and forth. Close to this, I also like working in conditions where there is no master and the subject but that which empowers employees and involve them in decision-making so that all the employees feels that they belong to the same family and that would mean that every body will be focused in meeting the objective and goals of the organization. The other way round employer-employee association is not productive because the employees with detach themselves from the work due to oppression or not allowed to be heard on issues affecting them. The kind of people I would like to work with I like working with progressive mind that are result oriented, people who have an agenda for every hour and every day, those people who quantify their contribution at the end of the day. These kinds of people will also see opportunity all the times and work towards realizing them by engaging other accordingly. I like progressive minds because they are problem solving and innovative at the same time, they add values not only to the work but also to those around them, they are source of hope when despair is looming. The Problems I would like to work on I would like to work on problems that solve the problems of the masses, something that brings a sigh of relief in an area where many challenges have been experienced. This explains my choice of considering IT in business, though it several issues can be solved with ease and most people will benefit from that breakthrough. In such like projects, a single breakthrough end up solving the entire problem of everybody interested. Personal needs to be met in the Professional work In the provision of my professional work, I also need to satisfy my personal needs like getting remuneration to cater for my subsistence and other regular monthly bills. I intend to get myself a living through my professional work that in will be giving to the clients and other interested parties. External Environment that give me motivation My professional career is motivated by the economy, it is important that we improve our economy by engaging in those activities that will make us harness more untapped potential and gearing them towards improving our economic status. For instance, when IT is competently put into place, there are several factors that can be done without which, they would have remained untapped, through IT, the world is reduce to a global village and much more information can be shared, new market zones can be easily be intruded on and customer base for the product will be increased. When this happens, the economy is improved, more goods can be supplied, services are sought from many places and the entries system is geared towards unlimited opportunity worldwide. The economic factor is the motivating issue in my career objectives-to be able to create a system though which most business can expand and offer a legion of services with ease. Internal Environment As I said previously, I am a progressive mind that wants s to be in the apex of giving a myriad solution to the challenges and problems facing expansion of businesses through the US of Information Technology so that concentricity of business and interaction is enhanced. In this reference, the internal factor that drives me in my direction is the personality. I have the personality that wants to see solution coming; the kind of personality that wants to see risks being taken in search of option that can better lives. I believe in a continuous process of doing research so that we can better the best business minds that we have around, so that infrastructural materials associated with business can be improved periodically because of the fact that there is no perfect research. In the completion of one research, a progressive mind should use the existing knowledge to see if a more accommodative system can be invented or a way through which the contemporary researches can be improved so that they fully support the increasing needs of the customers and the dynamic business world. This is what my personality has implanted in me-to see progress made on how IT can be used to solve the business needs. Part 2 Running a successful Business organization Running a successful business organization can be a mirage if certain factors are not considered pertinently by the proprietors, some of the most important factor that one needs to understand when running a business organization id the development of a vision to the organization. A business must be tied to a vision by which the business envisage to reach, after the formulation of a vision, it is important that a plan has to be developed through which the vision can be reached. Even in the establishment of the vision and the elaborate plan to realize it, knowing of the market is equally important and this will require that you have to bring you team o board and discuss with them the strategies that are suppose to be used in the realizing the goals and objectives (Amadeo, 2013). Most importantly in the organization is the consistency level as well as the knowledge that you are changing lives, if you inculcate this in business, your chances of failing in delivering are so limited. Lesson in working with People to a accomplish a larger task When working with people in accomplishing some larger task, you will realize that people have different capabilities and tolerance capacity. There are those people who are pushed to do work and most of the time they are not focuses on the completion of the project while others take the work like their own and cooperated as if they are doing it for their own benefit. In regard to this, there are things I will do more or less the same while others I will do them differently, for instance when working with people, I will maintain work that is divided into groups that finally reports on the completion of work assigned. I will also maintain empowerment and delegation of duties so that things are done in a unidirectional manner. On the other hand, I will do other things differently given the fact that projects are always time bound, I will ensure that each group, they can be called departments have their standards set daily so the performance of the workers can be quantified and predicted. I will also give appraisals for the exceptional workers so that there can be need to work and be on time over projects delivery (Amadeo, 2013). Influence of the Class to the community Through the influence of the class, I have realized that there are several contribution that one can make to the community without rewards as still emerge to be a successful person through the spread of your role and duties. Through the class, I have learnt on the importance of the giving back to the community in a way that I am appreciated while the community also benefits from my professional training, through this, I have realized that you can inspire many people who are would like to make a difference in the society in relation your contribution (Amadeo, 2013). To better, help the community, through the inspiration of this class I have resolved to initiate a body that will look into the several issues affecting the community and provide solution to them. It is important to make assessment on what the community wants and then link with the interested parties to find solution to their problems. These can be advisory services to the community over a range of business opportunities and activities that can be explored by the community but they are hindered because they do not have enough information regarding these business issues.
