Vital Factors of British and Chinese Students When They Considering Applying for the University - Dissertation Example

The literature review chapter presented an overview of the factors playing an important and decisive role in determining the application process of British and Chinese students while applying to universities. The research methodology chapter presented an overview of the different elements of the methodology along with discussing the overall relevance and importance of each element in seeking the answers for the hypotheses. The findings and analysis chapter presented an analysis of the findings based on the use of the SPSS statistical tool. The chapter highlighted the use of Chi-Square, Anova, and Mean tests in understanding the relationship between factors affecting the applying process in universities.

It was found that there is a positive relationship between social, demographic, personal, and globalization factors affecting the applying process in universities for oh Chinese and British students.

The conclusion and recommendation chapter presented an overview of the conclusion and recommendations being derived from the analysis of the primary and secondary research. It was found that personal, demographic, social, and perceived importance play an important role while applying in universities. It was also found that students tend to think about return on investment while applying to universities. Globalization can be considered as the main force connecting different nations and cultures in an easy and simple manner. Globalisation often helps in the expansion of international cultures, social, political, and economic activities (Brennan, et al, 2009). Globalisation helps in sharing ideas, knowledge, and beliefs along with facilitating a number of activities that help in creating mutual value in a rational manner. In the last few years, the educational environment has changed a lot in the context of national education (Coffield, et al, 2008). Education has moved across boundaries attracting individuals from different nations and cultures to share their ideas and beliefs by eliminating cultural and language barriers. A number of students from different parts of the world have been taking courses in different countries to learn more about different cultures in a different educational environment and setup (Paton, 2013). This may add value to their personal and professional life but also can offer a number of challenges that need proper analysis (David, et al, 2009).
Large numbers of students from various countries have been searching for better education in developed nations like the United States and the United Kingdom in order to be a part of the globalisation along with enhancing their present and future prospects.
