It is trendy being smart. Take a look at the market: big “Harry Potter” glasses, ties for both genders and other school uniform elements in clothing, reading non-fiction, watching scientific channels/episodes, minimum of make-up, and passion to smart celebrities. Of course, it all raised some special interest to those celebrities who used to be valedictorians (a top of the class) when studying.

The Illinois Valedictorian Project provides some persuasive statistics. This one is developed to encourage as many students to participate in active school life and earn higher grades as possible by offering attractive perspectives in return. 81 high-achieving valedictorians follow this program for ten years after graduation.
How can you qualify for becoming a high school valedictorian?
First and for most, make sure your GPA is no less than 3.5, which is closer to excellent (with the maximum of 4.0). By the way, not only your general intelligence increases.
According to statistics, valedictorians have higher chances of entering the most respective fields such as science, math, engineering, and business. It means a higher salary and more career opportunities. The point is that being a top of the class requires both academic and real-life management. It was also noticed that many of these students turn professional HRs or producers after graduation. In case you are interested in neither of those areas, you have pretty chances of making own mark on the world in a bigger way.
Let’s get inspired together by learning their stories.
Alicia Keys as one of the leading world’s R 'n' B, blues and jazz female singers looks awesome and clever at the same time. And that is not only your first impression. This lady was the head of the student community at Professional Performing Arts School, NY. Her creativity blasted since early ages. While some people hesitate about their destiny, others know what they want.
As well as another famous Hollywood blond Sharon Stone, Jodie Foster, Hannibal Lecter’s worthy rival, is among celebrities with highest IQ ratios. There is no wonder she participated in valedictorian activity for the Lycee Francais, LA. Foster attended such prestigious educational institution as Yale after high school.
Not only an Academy Award for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor is his biggest pride. Kevin Spacey is a true patriot of native California. Chatsworth High School in California’s San Fernando Valley is the bright example of his loyalty and intelligence.
The next “bid” will hardly surprise anyone. Ex-first lady, an extravagant Hillary Clinton, invested her brains into the support of the Wellesley College's class of 1969.
Cindy Crawford proved she was not just another “silly model in the row”. This fashion icon led the class of 1984 at DeKalb High School in Illinois. Although it may be hard to believe, but the world could receive chemical engineer named Ms. Crawford instead of world’s top model.
But what should we get shocked about if even parodists and comedians join the program? A known musical parody king, Weird Al Yankovic, was a straight A student at Lynwood High School in California. He was crowned valedictorian at the age of 16 before attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to study architecture.
