The companies need to continuously innovate, reinvigorate and update themselves and their products in order to beat the competition and cement their leading position in the market. The company that has been chosen for the study is Chrysler. The product that is chosen for the study is PT Cruiser.
These changes negatively impacted Chrysler. After a year Chrysler has been trying to resolve its issues, thus Chrysler merged with Daimler. This alliance was unsuccessful and eventually the company broke the contract. Based on my analysis Daimler felt that Chrysler needed them, so Daimler treated Chrysler like a child.
However, due to prevailing economic crisis and technological developments in America the merger did not yield the anticipated results. This study will explore the differences of the products models of Chrysler and Daimler before the conclusion of the merger.
