At that period I had to pay lots of attention to my academic life, due to the amount of information I got. I had almost no time to socialize, and my back hurt worse. Sometimes I felt like giving everything up and returning home, but in some time I developed a strategy that helped me to cope with my problems. I decided that I wanted to continue my education in the Boston University, and to cope with all the strain I learned time-management and some self-motivation techniques, which helped me to organize my working hours effectively, leaving time for work and social life.However, I managed to overcome all of those problems, and during my last three year in the Boston University, I led a full life. My grades became much better – I had higher than 3.0 GPA for last three years, and I took active part in the social life of the university. I was the member of the Korean Business club at Boston University, went to the athletic club, which helped me to deal with my health problems, and had intense work experience. In between 2001-2002, I was in Korea, my hometown, and went to Yonsei University in spring semester. I have always believed that one should get practical experience together with academic knowledge in order to become a qualified specialist. That is why I began to work as soon as I got the minimal amount knowledge needed to be effective. I graduated from a bachelor’s in history from UCLA in 2009. I was a very dedicated student demonstrated by my grade point average of 3.5. While attending college I received the opportunity to work for the Warner & Associated Law firm. This work experience validated my interest in the field of law.
I am painfully aware that my family circumstances and financial difficulties constitute disadvantages which disrupted my educational opportunities and advancement and resulted in my poor ISAT score. However, I do not consider these disadvantages to be permanent obstacles in my search for a better life.
Furthermore, legal education presents one with abroad range of perspectives critical to function fully in society. Lawyers play a critical role in the society, and the society possesses a responsibility to educate its legal minds. Indeed, law plays a fundamental role in shaping society’s civilization.
I first set my focus on becoming a community leader when I realized the need to fight for progressive causes via grassroots organization. Through this work, I have derived the intellectual foundation and the concrete experience to be a successful advocate for citizen’s rights.
