Extract of sample "Vision of Future Education"

Introduction Currently, the world experiences stagnant academic scores and low graduation rates. There is need to revise this trend since education is significant in providing human capital to achieve specific economic and social goals in the modern world (Alpert, 2010). Indeed, the future holds great educational opportunities for the growing population. I have a vision of future education. My vision relates to organizational behaviors and various advancements and changes that are likely to happen in future education. The vision includes changes in learning methods, educational funding, learning subjects, educational opportunities, and educational qualifications. The federal government, non-governmental organizations, and policy makers bear the mandate of implementing the vision of future education. Use of Advanced Technologies in Learning The eminent technological advancements will equally define my vision of future education. Indeed, future students and tutors will have an opportunity to adopt various technologies in learning. Such technologies will enable students to join online classes, access academic data, choose their convenient classes and extracurricular activities regardless of their residence. Nevertheless, a limitation in to innovative educational options will limit future academic success (Films Media Group, 1991). My vision of future education will integrate various learning approaches and opportunities. Future education will have a greater ratio of students to computers with internet access (Butcher, 2014). This will enable more students to enroll in online programs. Future education will also maximize the capacity of flexible and effective educational innovations to meet diverse academic needs. However, the disparities among students will persist subject to their cultural, economic, gender, and academic needs. Diverse Learning Tools In the future, the education system will embrace diverse and advanced learning and instructional tools that will be accessible to all students. The continued growth in technology will present the internet as an effective learning and research tool. Subject to the foreseen availability of learning opportunities and choice of schools and subjects, students will have a right to combine related credits earned from different schools for purposes of completing a specific educational program (Butcher, 2014). The students will also have an opportunity to study more than what is available in their classrooms. Indeed, future education will adopt extracurricular activities in the academic programs. The students will therefore learn more than what their classes offer. As such, the significance of education will go beyond classrooms by recognizing lessons and skills derived from the internet or extracurricular activities (Pilloton, 2010). Diversity and Relevant Skills and Knowledge In the future, I have a vision that academic scores and graduation rates will improve subject to the continued awareness, sponsorship, and opportunities for professionals. I have a vision that the society will disregard all forms of discriminations that hinder students from joining schools. As such, all students will have an equal chance to choose their preferred schools and learning programs. Most of all, the future education system must deliver skills and knowledge that will help successful graduates to pursue further studies, attain their career objectives, or secure employment. As such, policy makers will design academic programs that satisfy employment needs. Such studies may include nuclear energy and rocket science courses. The learned courses will prepare students for future endeavors that reflect future global trends. My vision is that future education will encompass collaborations across different sectors (Reason, 2009). Most notable, the education sector will collaborate with individuals, charity organisation, and government agencies to fund education programs. Such collaborations will offer scholarships, donations, and grants to eligible students and education programs. In the future, private schools and private students will benefit from the scholarships. As such, learning centers will develop education savings accounts to facilitate academic programs. Moreover, the federal government will continue subsidizing admission fees for public school students. Impact on My Professional Philosophy of Education Notably, this vision affects my professional philosophy of education in diverse ways. Indeed, this vision convinces me that education will achieve its intended purposes. Subject to the eminent growth in the efficiency and availability of education, I have enough reasons to support the current education system since it will offer a better platform for improved education in the future. The idea that future education will support my career goals and offer more opportunities encourages me to continue studying. However, my vision has informed me on the need to change the education system to reflect the current and future employment needs. The vision for innovative educational programs promotes my professional philosophy of education by recognizing the positive effects of technology in the education sector. Moreover, the vision confirms my professional philosophy of education on the need for better learning tools and collaborations between different sectors that have significant influence on education. The vision convinces me that education is flexible to societal, technological, and employment needs. As such, the vision affects my professional philosophy of education is a significant manner. Conclusion In conclusion, the many advancements and changes that are eminent in future education define my vision of future education. The vision includes changes in learning methods, educational funding, learning subjects, educational opportunities, and educational qualifications. Indeed, future students and tutors will adopt various technologies in learning and maximize the capacity of these educational innovations to meet diverse academic needs. In the future, the education system will embrace diverse and advanced learning and instructional tools that will lead to improved academic scores and graduation rates. The future education will disregard all forms of discriminations that hinder students from joining schools. Policy makers will design academic programs that satisfy employment needs and enhance career development. The education sector will collaborate with individuals, charity organisation, and government agencies to fund education programs. Notably, this vision affects my professional philosophy of education in diverse ways. Indeed, this vision convinces me that education will achieve its intended purposes. References Alpert, M. (2010).
