The book throws light upon the challenges and problems confronted by the parents of the children with autism. The authors strive to provide some guidelines for the parents and education professionals to deal adequately with the children and youngsters facing this disorder. There are several interventions available to deal with the children with autism however, choosing the most suitable is very important for the parents. The book helps making this selection by pointing towards the appropriate and simple strategies and treatment methods for the parents. Autism treatment is very broad issue and there is usually plenty of information found from different resources about its treatment however, the authors have made it very easy and accessible for the readers to get the information from five interventions categories explained separately in the book. The five interventions categories explicitly explained in the book in different chapters include “Interpersonal Relationships, Skill-Based Treatment Programs, Cognitive Methods, Physiological/Biological/Neurological Approaches, and Other Treatments and Interventions”.
