Reflective Essay Research Principles in the Design and Delivery of the Instructions in Meeting the Needs of Diverse LearnersTeaching is never the same in this century. A lot has taken place and still new dynamic changes still wait to happen. I totally agree with Billie Cunningham that action research is the way to go if at all the modern learning environment has to hold and deliver the goals stipulated. This is very ideal as it provides that trueness of the state of the current affairs and being dynamic it can be altered to fit any lecturer at individual level.

This is truly what ought to be instituted and advocated for by any learning institution.Action research, as has been defined by many to mean a situation where self evaluation on the set goals in a given setting, can be applied at any time in the course line of anybody (Cunningham, 2008). In my theoretical studies I got this meaning that learning is evaluated on the end of semester exams but with field and writings of the likes of Billie Cunningham, then a lot needs to be done on the side of the lecturer.

The lecture is everything in the success of the learning process not in giving powerful lectures but in creating that atmosphere that enable each student to be a very participative one in class (Edmonds, 2005). The lecturer is to provide structures and guidelines to facilitate the students do the learning themselves. Any consultative work is to the part of the lecturer.I concur with the effect that action research is a self researching basis whereby the lecturer takes time to think on the ways and means viable to carry out a goal he wants to achieve concerning the class he is teaching (Cunningham, 2008).

For this course, the lecturer will be involved in a series of events. I have this feeling that though the action research is highly recommended, its success is only valid if the right steps are taken into consideration fail to which the whole process if futile. Design and implementation is the bottom line for the success of this process. The lecturer, as Cunningham gives in the example, needs to design an outline i.e. the reasoning and planning of the goals to be achieved have to be clearly out lined.

This includes anything that will amount to consolidating the class members. Mostly classes are made of different characters whom some are easily distracted while others are very apt and all needs to be put in a platform which they can move together in a harmonious way. This will include a person response calculation and as a lecturer I would put this as a point forward in engaging the class throughout the semester.Upon understanding the setting and needs of the class members, then means on how to get the solution is paramount.

This involves planning and every aspect needs to be taken into account. As Bill Cunningham puts it care must be taken when planning as the methods which are used and the points stated to be achieved have an impact on the success of the process. This is the most vital stage of the whole process as the lecturer takes into account all the real facts facing the class. The implementations are also a changing point and if it is not in accordance with the original design and plan, the goals may be hard to achieve.

Finally the analysis of the whole process follows after the semester end and any progress or no progress analyzed. Action research is indeed the modern tool needed by every lecturer to make breakthroughs in the modern most diverse classroom composition.ReferencesCunningham, B.M.
