Online Schooling  Online education refers to studies offered by a given organization be it a college or a learning institution after coming up with a website. These mean that, students learn outside the classroom setting and teacher-student interaction occurs through mails on the internet. K12 is a significant organization that holds online lessons and began its work in the year 2000 and has been able to run and produce more than 1.5 million courses to over 150,000 students all over the world. To mention a few of the disadvantages, online education is critical to young students especially those from junior classes and the vulnerable to health may complicate with bone problems and end up been predisposed to musculoskeletal diseases (Barajas & Mario). The problem may come about due to long hours of stay in the computers, these may tend to affect students concentration in class due to the pains caused in the muscles. Online schools are said to have mushroomed from a coalition made from different faculties in colleges and universities. The support from students when they agreed to abide by the language pledge and commitment to speaking the languages they study made it easier to strengthen the goals of online lessons. Online schooling had benefitted most people when it designed ways to come up with new ventures that were believed to introduce a lot of innovation and later caused the spread of high-quality online language for pre-college students. In support of these views, after the merge, students were also introduced to some rules that made them abide fully to the curriculum. Among the rules were the fact that they would only speak and practice the subjects and styles taught from the classes. The idea behind the support of students practicing and speaking the language taught in school boosted their morale and the enthusiasm of teachers. These in turn, made online schooling spread with a lot of interests in the students and later came to be recognized as the best mode of learning. A lot of countries started embracing these modes of study as put by, (Glen berg 1-55). Usually, knowledge is taken to be a self-directed form of learning where students learn when they are ready. Neither the teacher nor a colleague can force the other to study. Online setting has a serene and quiet environment for those students who feel bullied by their rivals in the class. Some data setup from k12 cooperation that, in these poll, 94% of parents saw the idea of online education worth the risk and were in full support. These were so because they wanted their children to get protection from the bullies in school, and enhance their proper stay, so as to increase their performance in studies and concentration, these means, with online studies, there are least destructions and the students learn on their own. These makes them pay attention to various lessons and in turn, their performance in class is outstanding. Also, the teachers claimed that they finally found a solution to what had been disturbing them. The idea of bullying where a student is threatened or segregated from the rest of the crowd makes one feel uneasy. These in turn made teachers become on the forefront to encourage most parents that these new concepts would work and that it would be good for parents to put the proposal into consideration. These are the idea of online education especially for those children in lower classes so as to prevent them from getting any forms of psychological damages. Teachers, parents and educators have tried to address such issues where their students get bullied by others to an extent of affecting their school performance and finally, the idea of online learning has been taken to enhance a student’s comfort and peace of learning. Also, the teachers claimed that they finally found a solution to what had been disturbing them for a very long time. Pre-college studies refer to those students aiming to join kindergarten, secondary or primary studies and are in need to study on the website. In order to fulfill the high-quality education programs, the online schools saw it wise to prepare students right from kindergartens. The program has is developed to offer an engaging and innovative way to inspire young minds of ages between three to five years so as to provide high-caliber for individualized learning options. Technopoly, as discussed by Neil poly, helps us understand the view of how technology tends to change the lives of everyone. He describes the better and bad sides it has. Among the advantages is that, technology acts as a friend, and it tries to make life easier, longer and cleaner but does not give room for careful examination. In as much as technology portrays some friendly characters, it has some dark side where it tends to undermine some mental processes, social relations that later come to make human life worth living. By these postmen meant that instead of Thames the king is thinking about skills alone, he should have a broad view and get to know the advantages and disadvantages it can offer. From my point of view, some of the disadvantages raised from online education are the fact that it cause serious effects to the musculoskeletal system and can affect the young kids at kindergarten mostly before they reach old age or join elementary studies. These may affect them further studies and be forced to wear spectacles at a tender age or learn under support (Carr). As opposed to god Theuth, he has displayed a lot of creativity among them being the skills of writing. He said that with paper, he came up with a sure recipe for memory and wisdom. Thames never saw the intentions of writing because he figured out that it tended to lose memories for only much of the information tends to be retained having nothing to put into practice. Contrary to the true happening, it means that however many people value technology, they should understand that it has both impacts. The negative and positive and it will be of importance to be keen in the trends with much emphasis on what is good. Online education provides a key example where, it has set better strategies that are used by most students to attain and continue with their learning in a serene environment free from noise and threats. It began these by coming up with rules that most students swore to abide to. These were so because most parents wanted their children to get protection from the bullies in school, and enhance their proper stay, so as to increase their performance and increase concentration in studies. Also, the teachers claimed that they finally found a solution to what had been disturbing them and in turn, urged more parents to consider these as a better chance to help out their vulnerable children. These will in turn affect their learning and may to some extent hinder them from continuing with their education to far levels, these was one among the drawbacks experienced by those who got bullied. Freud, on the other hand, argues that, without technology, nothing good would come out of it; he tries to list some examples that are in straight support to the case of online school. These statements mean something big, in that without technology to humans, we are not any better. The concept has a comprehensive view and very evident in online education. These are because the researchers started with the strengths it brought to students on pre-college and later mentioned some setbacks. Carrier believes that the design of a technology has positive and negative sides. Technology has a lot in it some of which may be good and others not even considerable. Therefore, it is wise to put into consideration the required type of technology, the importance it has to the organization or group on focus and whether the benefits outweigh the risks. He pointed out on the invention of telephones, telegraphs and medicine which has no any difference from the newly introduced online education that has to a great extent increased the grounds in which many people have gotten enlightened (Gardner 1991). Postman tends to criticize that technology only focused to generate inventions that build a name for institutions, but it leaves members or users destructed. The writer still supports the idea put out by Thames when he stressed on the need for writing that involves both memory and wisdom. These mean that the technology tends to balance in a way that it creates a slow but rapid change. The new ideas, often, are reluctant to implement but once they get fully accepted, the fruits are sweet and enjoyable. The other view that Postman tried criticizing was as Thames put it, he explained that he did not seem to worry about the writing in the scripts but what mattered were the writings. Postman argued that the idea here is not about invention of online education to be concurrent with the modern society. What matters is how and in which ways data is manipulated to the desired state of benefiting the community or targeted group. An example was when they concluded on the idea that, often, knowledge is a self- directed form of learning and students learn only when they are ready (Postman 162). Neither the teacher nor a colleague can force the other to study. Online setting has been able to provide a conducive environment for those students who feel bullied by their rivals in the class. Some data setup from k12 cooperation that, in these poll, 94% of parents saw the idea of online education worth the risk and were in full support. In conclusion, education has truly changed people to the digital world. With the invention of technology in today’s culture, it has become accessible and widespread that the nation has got more advantages from it with few setbacks. But all in all, with technology, comes the digital world and improved living standards. By these, Postman meant that, technology neither adds nor subtracts anything, but it tends to improve the ecology. Postman believes that the design of a technology has positive and negative sides. Technology has a lot in it some of which may be good and others not even considerable. Therefore, he noted that it will be wise to put into consideration the required type of technology, the importance it has to the society or the targeted group and whether the benefits can outweigh the risks.
