In addition, participating in straight talks would provide a global solution to the misunderstandings that the deaf go through due to difficulties when communicating with non-signers. Moreover, adopting positivity or a can-do attitude would help the deaf in demonstrating their worth in the society. Furthermore, the deaf world would improve if they could teach other deaf people on the deaf language and their overall culture. However, there are some obstacles to these solutions that include lack of technology such as hearing aids, financial resource constraints and outsigning environments (Holcomb, 2012).
