The chapter explains the different types of assessments and which are to be used at different times of the lesson. These assessment strategies will ensure that the teacher not only engages but monitors the student from before imparting the knowledge to way later after being taught to gauge the understanding of it. I can use the assessment strategies as well to monitor the progress of my students.
The reading further explains the need for observation of the students keenly of what they are reading and writing in their books as this will further provide ideas about the interests of the student in that subject.
