Photography of Australia presents one of the most spectacular exhibitions of the country’s history. Students investigated the significance of harnessed photography towards creating the idea of a nation. The first group ascertained that this was the first large-scale type of exhibition held in Australia in twenty-five years (ESAV 2012, p. 15). The exhibition contributes significantly towards appreciating complexity of photography. In addition, the show would help in promoting explorations of photography production to enable dissemination of history of Australia.

Group finding reveals that photographs are highly effective towards capturing the imagination and telling stories in significantly powerful ways. Based on the group’s findings, the event of photograph and Australia remains an invaluable treasure-trove that conveys stories that reflect the evolution of the nation from different perspectives. In addition, every image expresses an idea in a unique way and insightfully. The photography process presented self and image of Australia. The group findings and research also revealed that photography show more details about people and individuals who others have never met or interacted with in their lives.

Some of the details photography reveal about people include their mutability and their overwhelming multiplicity. The technological advancements of the 19 century brought about different presentation forms to protect and display the photographic work. The report also revealed that photography is significant in helping reviewing what history has provided. It, therefore, helps to re-image the past and further do reclamation of Aboriginal people image making. Consequently, it creates nuanced images of the entire country and its communities.
