Analysis of Professional PortfolioIntroduction Different learning process existed and they are explained and synthesized with the conceptualized frameworks described and illustrated in the learning theories. The learning theories are sure ways of understanding how information is passed, processed, absorbed, and retained during any learning situation. From education platform and learning theories, it is understood that any learning process is usually cognitive, environmentally, and emotionally influenced (Davis and Osborn, 2003).

Moreover, the learning process is pegged on learners’ prior experiences. The fundamental or principle of learning theories includes sensory stimulation, Reinforcement Theory of Learning, and Experiential Learning Theory. According to the sensory stimulation learning theory, learning will only be effective if all the senses of the learner are simulated fully. In other words, it has been proven through series of studies, it has been apparent that learning or knowledge acquisition is usually trough seeing, touching, hearing, smelling, and tasting (Keating, Keating, and Keating, 2011).

From the same understanding; therefore, multi media aided teaching is likely to make learners have good mastery of what they have been taught than other modes of teaching. Other than pumping knowledge into learners, it is vital to ensure that such knowledge is reinforced. According to behaviorist-psychologist, this can only be achieved through certain behavioral ways. In other words, learners usually follow certain behaviors if such are positively reinforced in them and such can be achieved through rewards and verbal praises (Mulholland and Doherty, 2005).

Since learners usually like praises, there is likelihood that they can even perform better once they are praised; therefore, teachers must use the same stylistics to reinforce knowledge in students. Finally, it is worth noting that it is vital for teachers to create conducive learning environment for learners and use learning situation that learners have had experience. For the experiences in learning, it is essential that teachers use material that learners had encountered in their lives and some of these may include pictures ad films among others (Davis and Osborn, 2003).

Nonetheless, each learning stages will require different modes of passing knowledge; thus, teachers must develop Curriculum Map and Assessment Strategies to ensure students are dealt with according to their learning standards. Moreover, educators must prepare a well Curriculum Map and Assessment Strategies as per the subject since each subject and level of learning requires different approach and design to teaching (Mulholland and Doherty, 2005). The assessment strategies must also be effective per level of education and must access the desired goals as the learning plan.

Planning for Personal Professional DevelopmentProper planning of personal professional development usually requires proper understanding of individual’s profession. Having a master degree usually gives a perfect professional exposure at workplace. Therefore, I decided to pursue master degree to have an in-depth understanding of the course in theoretical and practical aspects towards increasing my inner skills and knowledge in my professional field. Other than the career related to my course; the adult education and development program, the course at master level will open me a series of opportunities in life.

Global job market is quite competitive; thus, without an extra advantage above other jobseekers, the competition will remain tiff and unbearable. Therefore, having a master degree will be an added advantage that will keep me above the rest or among the few with the same qualification. Unlike the first degree, the master degree in adult education and development program is a sure way of helping me to explore the necessary and vital learning requirements that an educator must expose their students.

The vital factors that will make me students favorite are the effective application of the learning theories in their practical essence (Zepeda, 2008). Additionally, creating conducive and effective learning environment will help in promoting effective learning among students; thus, knowledge acquisition and mastery will never be a problem among my studiers. Additionally, I shall ensure that I develop an effective curriculum and assessment strategies that shall eliminate any sort of prejudice to learners.

Other than the master degree, my earlier education and the master degree have equipped me with skills, knowledge, and experience to assess and analyze the effects of adult learning programs within the society. The most vital skill and knowledge that is applicable in this includes the involvement of requisite knowledge and institutional design that incorporates related adult learning theories. These tools are the most profound in assessing the set learning goals and objectives (Reynolds and Vince, 2004).

In addition, effective communication is paramount part of teaching and learning; therefore, I will ensure I use simple but effective communication skills towards teaching the adult programs among other teaching programs.Appendix Other than the already achieved skills, knowledge, and experience, it is equally significant for me to establish some essential ways through which I need to prove my professional career and this can only be determined through asking question that include: 1. What are some areas or expertise that I need to improve on?2. What are some barriers to executing my profession? 3. What are ways of eliminating or improving on such barriers?
