The accreditation and recognition are not quality standards as they do not guarantee quality education. It is no more a secret that many incompetent and unprofessional academic institutions have obtained accreditation and recognition from different regional Associations. There is no strong check and balance system to monitor the strict application of academic practices in the accredited universities. The administrative system provides two mechanisms: academic and non-academic administration. Academic administration refers to the administration and management of information relating to education.

For example, types of courses, their topics, fees structure duration and so on. For this purpose, the academic department is established to assist current and potential students willing to study in the institution. The academic staff must remain fully aware of the courses and degrees being offered by the institution. The non-academic administration includes the management of finance, administration of the academic facility, human resource department, etc. The main objective of the administrative system is to ensure that objectives of non-academic administration activities are achieved.

The admission requirements do not have a single standard, but they vary from degree to degree and course to course. This variation is not only limited to the degrees, but the difference also exists in the fees, academic background and level of English language in case of an international student willing to apply for admission. For a local student, admission requirements remain less stringent in comparison with the international student. The study duration is an academic session in which a certain portion of degree subjects are completed or an entire degree period is completed.

Study duration also varies from course to course and degree to degree. Short course and specialization in a particular subject have shorter study duration than graduate degrees, which consumes longer study duration.
