In particular, the relationship is determined by the way the organization handles issues pertaining health, safety and the environment. The observation herein shows that there has been tension between the societal welfare and the conduct of stakeholders. The information herein shows that the well being of an organization depends on the society and vice versa, and the binding factor is observation of professional code of ethics by both parties. As much as making profits does make sense, community life and the well being of the society is much more important. The modern businesses are expected to honor the environment, provide safety, and promote good health standards.
