Name: Tutor: Course: Date: TWA flight 800 Abstract TWA Flight 800 exploded in 1996 killing all 230 passengers. Explanations into the explosion include that it resulted from a bomb or missile attack, or the explosion of the central fuel tank. This report presents the conditions surrounding the explosion…

Introduction

The technology leading to the case was the location of the plane, possible electrical arcing, and auto-ignition. The investigations were led by the NTSB and FBI, who disapproved the bomb and the missile theory. The findings include that the defective condition of the wiring could have caused the ignition of the fuel vapor at the central tank. Recommendation presented include that the central tank should be kept full and that air conditioners should be relocated or insulated from the tank. Impacts on engineering include change to continual review of the aircraft’s hardware. It also maintains steering and aircraft stability in order to control the wheel from skidding which often the cause of aircraft accidents. Skidding of wheels in aircraft is closely monitored because of the many risks it takes when neglected. Skidding can reduce the braking efficiency which will result to locking of wheels, bursting of tyres and possible serious damage to the aircraft locked-up…
Impact of Technology Throughout Aviation
This paper will begin with the history of aviation methods, systems, and equipment that were used prior to the 21st century. The information provided will include laws and regulations, environmental issues, safety procedures, training, design, and management that have been incorporated to enhance aircraft operations across the various levels of an organization. By reviewing actual accident…
LNG & LPG vs. Kerosene in Fueling Aircrafts
Indeed, there are high-tech types of aircrafts in the world that use different forms of energy, improved technology, and carrying many passengers. Nevertheless, there are other factors that affect the operations in the aviation industry that include environmental factors, price of fuel and other aircraft equipment, and the development of more effective and convenient sources of energy (Federal…

It also describes and shows the block diagram, power source wiring, and the electrical cable routing for the three systems. The paper also details the operation and functionality of the remaining two systems in reference to their block diagram, power source wiring, and the electrical cable routing. The report describes the system in depth including the exact functions of the systems, detailing…
Aircraft System Principles and Applications
Before going into the details of how air properties affect the flight of a plane, one must have deep insight into the correlation of air properties. Variation in air pressure directly affects the density of air if the temperature is kept constant. Both the pressure and the density are directly proportional to each other and if pressure decreases at a given temperature, density of air also…
