Introduction

The return of the airline systems to their normal schedules largely depend on the need and emergency of the schedule. For instance, there may be airline systems that require the schedule to get back to their normal plans by the next day. Hence controllers in this regard would cancel the flights or shift the passengers to other carriers, and then have time for the necessary measures (Yu, 1998, p.323). According to Dillingham (1997), e need for monitoring, tracking and control technology in the aviation industry is primarily required for attaining safety and security in the industry. This is mainly focused on the reduction of accidents of different flights. The air traffic control mechanism and processes have modified significantly keeping focused on the need for safety and security of the aviation industry. In the present times, the air traffic control can be found to have modernized extensively for this purpose. Thus the processes now include new radars, processing of data that are automated, navigation, surveillance, and equipments for effective communications.
