Dangers of Electric Shock In APA Format Abstract The invention of electricity was a huge breakthrough; electricity has redefined the way people live. There are a plethora of uses of electricity, most modern day gadgets need electricity to work, there are electric trains which hundreds of thousands of people use each day and there are several other uses of electricity…

Introduction

These days almost anything which is dangerous clearly shows a danger sign but some people choose to ignore it and as a consequence end up losing their life. Death by electric shock has become unusually common, sometimes it is because of ignorance some other times it is purely accidental. Shock occurs when a person accidentally or intentionally touches an energy source; the energy then flows through the body causing an electric shock. Many a time this electric energy is so powerful that the victim succumbs to his wounds, some other times the victim is saved. “Adolescents and adults are prone to high voltage shock caused by mischievous exploration and exposure at work. About 1,000 people in the United States die each year as a result of electrocution. Most of these deaths are related to on-the-job injuries.” (Electric Shock Causes) 1,000 people each year lose their life as mentioned earlier and yet nothing significant is being done about it. There are several factors which determine how severe the shock can be, the most important of them all is the voltage, higher the voltage more severe the shock. The resistance of the tissues is another factor which may determine the extent of the injury because each of us is biologically different and may have different resistance levels. ...

The Aerodynamics of Future Electric Cars
Changes in global demand patterns, market forces, environmental concerns and the ever present danger of fleeting fossil fuel reserves are forcing automobile manufacturers and research scientists to look for alternative means to fuel automobiles. One facet of these developments has been electric vehicles that are powered exclusively through electric batteries. The emergence of electric vehicles has…
Digital multimeter
The user guide could be used by a number of individuals in order to achieve high performance and full control of various electrical installations. The research was undertaken in a school setting by involving students in active participation with the aid of user guides. The students were then assessed and the outcome recorded. The outcome was later used to upgrade the user guide. …
Assessment of the Environmental Impact of Electric Vehicles
Conclusion 18 References 1. Introduction Electric vehicles have become a strong trend in the global market. The benefits of electric vehicles, as analyzed above, compared to the conventional vehicles are often used as a justification for promoting the use of these vehicles worldwide. In this context, the following problem appears: which would be the impact of replacing a conventional internal…
Electrical Cars Research Paper
It is estimated that more than one third of the total energy such as natural gas, diesel, and gasoline in the world goes to driving automobiles. Today, auto industries are in the toe-tip of enhancing transition into electrical cars. This is because of several forces that limit growth of the oil industry and automotive businesses. These limiting factors have made engineers implement varieties of…
Hydraulic Hybrids: A new economical and environment friendly solution to improve fuel efficiency
The main components of a hydraulic hybrid system are vehicle engine, motor/pump, accumulators, low-pressure tank, twin high pressure tank, hydraulic drive train and hydraulic transmission. A hydraulic transformer is also included in some of the systems in order to minimize the low power losses by converting output flow at any pressure. Hydraulic hybrid is identical to electric hybrid systems…
Electric Vehicles
Such finite supplies necessitate current technology and development to be concentric upon finding alternate means of locomotion that service the needs of current and future human populations. One of the most relevant alternatives that currently exists within the field of transportation science is of course the prospect of the electric vehicle. Although the technology to produce such vehicles dates…

Mineral is present in a specific region. A region where diamond is present might not be the places for oil & gas which can be take out. The rock arrangement differs. The whole foundation is diverse. Therefore after identification of the mineral, appropriate process is selected for excavation. Drilling is one of the excavation processes and there are various types of drilling and percussive…
