Advantage and Disadvantage of Electrical Pre-fabricated cable

Regardless of mixed reactions, it has been known for long periods of time that the preassembled electrical components have several benefits and problems. This research paper has, therefore, identified both the advantages and disadvantages of employing pre-fabricated electrical cables and other electrical components in electrical installation. The research paper has also explored the impacts of prefabrication technology on electrical installation and construction industry at large. In addition to identifying the advantages and disadvantages of employing pre-fabricated electrical cables, research paper has investigated the current trends in the use of prefabrication technology. The paper has also discussed how the prefabricated electrical cables are applied or used in the construction and electrical installation industry. In order to achieve its objectives, the research involved both secondary and primary data. With the regard to primary data, qualitative research was carried to gather the perceptions of public (particularly those who have some on knowledge on prefabricated and on-site fabricated electrical cables) and contractors regarding the advantages and disadvantages prefabricated electrical cables. In this case, a number of electricians and contractors were interviewed in the quantitative research part of the dissertation. In the case of the secondary data, qualitative research was carried out on the organizations that produce (manufacture) these prefabricated electrical cables. ...

Electrical Engineering in Telecommunications
The next step is for telecommunication engineers to outline a transmission and reception of the transmitted information. In designing the transmitters and receivers, the engineers have to factor in the power consumption especially of the transmitters since a weak signal will due to low or insufficient power will be susceptible to corruption by noise so that the sent information is received as jumbled or incoherent. Looked at simplistically, two telephone handsets connected together need a battery in between to provide the electrical signal to transmit voice signals as depicted below; d1 d2...

What Is Electrical Engineering?
Electrical engineers are continuously putting their efforts to improve communication between people by designing easy to use communication technologies, such as, cell phones and notebooks. Electrical engineering not only facilitates long distance communication but also serves the world in many other areas related to technology. Therefore, we can say that electrical engineering is one of the major fields of engineering which is playing a considerable role in technological progress all over the world. What Do Electrical Engineers Do? In the present world, electrical engineers are putting their...

Electrical Cars Research Paper
It is estimated that more than one third of the total energy such as natural gas, diesel, and gasoline in the world goes to driving automobiles. Today, auto industries are in the toe-tip of enhancing transition into electrical cars. This is because of several forces that limit growth of the oil industry and automotive businesses. These limiting factors have made engineers implement varieties of propulsive systems that require other forms of energy instead of oil. General Motors has, therefore, come up with very promising configuration of battery electric vehicles (BEV) to supplement combustion...

Emergence of Nanotechnology in Electrical Engineering
The mechanisms that are comprised of the integrated circuits in electronic equipment appear nano-sized and near billions in number. Occasionally, “bugs” prowling in the compound scheme can collide and arouse momentous working errors. One group of electronic infections that can harm a fabricated chip is termed the timing errors. These faults lead to slow executions in the operating system. This affects the system as the components continuously become smaller; while the procedure of thwarting and correcting timing faults continues to complicate the whole process. This delays the time taken...

electrical engineering
This was not difficult as I was in love with and excelled in mathematics and physics; I was not very strong in the arts so I opted to major mostly in technical fields. After I graduated from high school, I secured a place in college where I was advised that if I hope to become an electrical engineer, I should minor in chemistry or a management subject. I am hoping to graduate in with a GPA high enough to get me into any of the many great universities in the United States; preferably, I would like to go to MIT or Stanford. As such, I am working diligently as I cannot afford a dismal GPA since...

Power Quality in Electrical Power System
Hence the load that develops is one of the most prominent reasons as well as the most important victim of power quality related issues. Since they are non-linear in nature this causes great load which results in turbulence in the waveform of the voltage.  “Component can be established. It is possible in the same way to correlate certain disturbances with consumption patterns of electricity, such as the early evening television peak in the harmonic distortion and signal Processing of Power Quality etc.” (Bollen, 2006) Thus in order to overcome this disturbance there are numerous...
