Your full September 21, Essay Whenever we across something that inspires us, we see our senses signaling to us some feelings that help us evaluate whether we like that thing or not, and what message do we extract from that specific something. A painting is such a form of art that can convey hidden as well as obvious messages to the viewer. A good painting will always contain some message in it and will always be food for thought. This paper tends to analyze the painting, A New Way of Thinking, and what we see and feel by looking at it or what message do we extract.

A brisk look at the painting gives us an image of a thoughtful man with nature in the background. The images of the person and the nature have been merged together giving us the message that human beings and nature cannot be segregated from each other at any cost. Man is a great admirer of nature. Another thing that we notice is that the man is grey haired which shows that he has seen many ups and downs of life and has come at this stage of life. No one gets at this stage without seeing any hardships in life.

The background shows a tree which is a sign of hope and freshness. The man is hopeless and is thinking about hope, and the tree is a symbol of optimism. The clouds hover above his head giving him shade. An important aspect that this image portrays is the thoughtfulness in which the man is indulged. He seems to be thinking about devising new ways of living that would prove to be easy for man in today’s complicated world. The man does not like how today’s human beings lead their lives and is pondering upon how to correct the wrong ways of earning and living.

His feet are on the ground while his head touches the sky, which means that he is thinking about great ideas that would fit in the life on the Earth. The tree and cloud are natural support that will be given to him from God so that he fulfills his dreams and accomplishes his mission. The vast ground in the background is a symbol of the broad thinking of the man giving the reader an idea that he has great aims in his mind that he wants to achieve. To sum up, the painting is a great piece of art and has a beautiful theme inside it and a lucid message that very few artists bother to convey in such a unique way.

Nature always feels good and when it merges with the personality, it gives the painting a beautiful look and the viewer is inspired to take the thought from the man’s mind and make it his own. The final message is that all of us should lead thoughtful lives; should ponder upon our strengths and weaknesses; and, should work to rectify our past mistakes so that the whole society on the whole is benefitted.
