Fables Give before you receive Long time ago, far away in the woods lived a rabbit and a greedy monkey.The monkey was a farmer and owned a large piece of land where he grew so many bananas. He virtually owned the whole forest with huge plantations of bananas. The monkey would buy all the bananas in stock on market each time he went to town. One day on his way back home he saw a poor starving rabbit. The rabbit asked him if he could spare him just one banana. “No, I cannot” said the monkey.

At the moment he was talking the king lion was behind him but he had not noticed. Lion told him to give an explanation as to why he could not help the poor starving rabbit. The monkey replied, “I just cannot, let him die”. “Well if you cannot you will be punished and forced to eat 50 pounds of rotten bananas.” said the lion. He followed him to a dump site where he did as was instructed by the lion. The next day he gave the rabbit some of his bananas having learnt a lesson. The moral is give before you receive (Kids Fable).

What goes around comes around One day there was a donkey who was walking in the jungle. A monkey saw him at a distance and approached him. He asked him to get a drink for him from a net that was a distance away. The donkey did as was told. Suddenly the net pulled the donkey in the air. The monkey left him. The next day the donkey asked the monkey if they could take a walk. The monkey agreed. They set off and walked for a very long time and the monkey got tired and began to lag behind. He begged the donkey to carry him but he refused and left him.
