Extract of sample "Twain in a Students Life"

It is evident that even in a world where people are liberated, there are those isolated cases of bullying most especially in schools ultimately one of the root causes of crimes. A quote from Mark Twain is a reminder of the said issue.

As Twain put it into words, “It is curious that physical courage should be so common in the world, and moral courage so rare” (Alberto, 107). There are only a few students, especially foreign ones who would stand up for their rights. It should be of their pride that they have the knowledge to be brought to a foreign land and be allowed to cultivate not just education but also the culture of the place where they are residing or studying. It would be of great pride for them to also share their culture with fellow students.

Moral courage is needed for foreign students to be able to succeed in a place where they are considered different. These students should always stand up and be proud of their roots. Whenever they have a chance to share anything related to their culture, they should grab the said chance and especially when it will be helpful to the lectures or the improvement of the awareness of other students.
