Similarly, it is worth noting that technology has been observed to promote some of the technological innovations that are highly expected to improve on the efficiency of communication as well as other information access tasks (Barnet and Bedau 138). The advert whose animation appears on the first page is one from the famous Information Technology sector in the mobile telephony. The advert is one posted by the famous Apple Company who is the manufacture and the distributor of the iphone in the world. In display, the advert shows the main features and the additional services that are offered by the new technological advancement in the mobile telephony of the iphone. Among the features in display include text and multimedia messages sending and reception, extra large memory phonebook, audio as well as video player, fastest internet access, sending and receiving of electronic mails, access to the social network. Analysis of the Advert It has been observed for a long period of time that there is more information that audience derives from the advertisements presented by the media than the common outward message that is displayed to the casual eye. Advertisements, similar to any other forms of communication, functions best when they strike the desires of the audience. The general ambience of the advert is that which triggers excitement from the audience. The advert exhibits a world of happiness that eliminates technological strain with the introduction of a multitasking device (Barnet and Bedau 138). The mood created by the advert is majorly depicted through the use of a variety of colors which may be attributed to the universality of the device. The employment of a variety of colors in the advert draws the attention and feelings of a majority of the audience who may have different tastes and preferences as regards colors (Barnet and Bedau 143). The advert also creates a mood of acceptance of the product on display by exposing much more than the customers may have in their expectations. This has been achieved through revealing a number of features besides the primary ones that appear on the screen. This paints an image of an extra ability of the device to perform much more operations in a better and a more efficient manner. In addition to the use of colors to attain the attention of the audience to the appealing product, there is also the use of many symbols and signs which depict or make communications to the target audience (Barnet and Bedau 165). With the roles these symbols and signs play in the advert, they have a remarkable impact on the general perception of the product on advert. Such symbols include those standing for the feature like facebook (f), yahoo (Y!), Google (g), the image of an envelope for text and multimedia messages, the symbol of radio for music player, Pandora (P) among other symbols. The use of symbols has frequently been associated with the need for a faster communication and sometimes with passing of secretive information to a target audience and not others. The manner in which the coded information is relayed to the target audience depends on the audience ability to give a correct and a relevant interpretation of the symbol in use. This advert therefore uses various symbols intended to pass particular impressions to the audience. These symbols and signs impressively bring out the device ability in a more summarized and elaborate manner. Further more, the use of such symbols and the signs depict the intended audience. This is due to the fact that the signs and symbols are communication devices whose interpretations can only be done by an audience having such abilities through either academic experiences or field work experience. Finally, this discussion analyses another critical aspect of the advert which deals with the manner in which the economic, sociological, cultural as well as the political attitudes are depicted in the advert (Barnet and Bedau 138). Sociologically, the advert depicts its relevance to those in the highest social class in the society. The high social class in the society includes the rich and the royal members who have the capability of accessing the services offered by the device on the advert. The advert further illustrates the culture or the lifestyle of the people in possession of the device on advert. The lifestyle depicted is that of affluence which is majorly depicted by possession of luxurious items with complex features that have the capacity to access extra ordinary services (Barnet and Bedau 171). In addition, the advert registers a great influence on the aesthetic decisions. Aesthetic decisions can be influenced by the type of shot captured which could be a close up shot, medium shot or long shots, the illumination employed and the angle at which the shot was taken (Barnet and Bedau 153). In conclusion therefore, it can be deduced that various adverts employ different techniques to create the impression requisite for customer demands. Such techniques include the use of different colors that depict different impressions depending on the target audience as well as the intended visual message, the camera angle at which the advert image is captured which may be close up, long or medium shots, the use of symbols and signs that pass particular messages to the audience and the use of figures such as images of men, women, children and animals.
