Up until the time that I came to view the movie “Climate Refugees”, I never thought of the problem of climate change as one that has been causing the calamities around the world and the seemingly massive migration of the people from the affected countries to other places…
After all, when people lose their homes and source of livelihood, they are left with no other choice but to move to other places in order to seek a solution to their problems. However, climate refugees are making the problem worse by taxing the resources of other nations. Therefore, climate change is no longer a scientific problem but a social and political one.
The movie has shown me that climate change poses multiple problems for all of us, regardless of whether we are climate refugees or not. The reality of the situation is that we are all affected by what happens in other countries and the solution to the problem does not lie in the handouts that international organizations give. Rather, the solution can be found by working together towards a common goal, that of eradicating climate change.
Although science will be at the forefront of the issue, the solution to the problem has to come from various sectors of society. Unless those solutions come, and come fast enough, the next Hollywood disaster film will be all about climate refugees from around the ...

The result of global warming in animals and on agriculture and the effect on human inhabitants is indeed frightening. The earth is already on warming periods even before human predominance. Based on studies, from 1000 AD until 1850 AD, the rising of earth temperature is caused by the changes in activities on the sun and some volcanic eruptions.
Although it is a devastating dilemma, we are not left hopeless. Climate change urges rapid modifications on how we run our systems by altering our individual lifestyles, establishing legislation as the nation’s aid, and participation of other countries in this endeavor.
Climate change can be due to: Natural variability – warming or cooling due to sun spot activity, solar radiation Human activity – burning of fossil gases into the atmosphere, causing enhanced greenhouse effect However, there is much debate about what causes climate change, and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change refers to a change of climate that is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the global atmosphere.
Changing temperatures and unpredictable swings in the jet stream continue to alter the distribution and predictability of precipitation throughout the country, all caused by climate changes. Though the root cause of climate change is not fully understood, the long-term impact on ecosystems throughout the United States is an altered environment in which humans, animals and infrastructures have grown dependent upon.
Significantly, climate change predictions give man knowledge of the future; and these predictions cannot compared to magic, neither are they opinions or speculations.(Ricky, 2008, 1) Climate predictions are based on investigation in the field of science i.e.
ions that have contributed to climate change and as such have committed to address the issue and assist developing countries in reducing their admissions. There are many negative consequences as a result of climate change and here rising sea levels will be discussed.
