Among all the products in the recent time, Apple has been an icon when it comes to gadgets such as laptops, Iphone, Ipod and Ipad. Whether it is on billboards, television online ads and movies, the mere logo alone is already an effective advertisement. As the most popular brand when it comes to technology, the logo of Apple can be easily recognized by anyone around the globe. It does not only refer to an American but an international brand. Its pervasiveness especially became more popular when its founder, Steve Jobs, passed away.

Apple products have become a legacy by then. In terms of marketing strategy, Apple does not aim to reach the mass as the general consumers but remain loyal to a certain ‘class’. Unlike other brands, it refuses to lower its price. Therefore, carrying an Apple product is like enrolling to that higher and trendy ‘class’. Another appealing feature of Apple ads is that it does not focus on new features but on the improvements of its old features, so it always offers an even better one. It makes the consumers more familiar with the products that they would not seek for another anymore in exchange of Apple.

Personally speaking, I am also loyal to this brand. What is fascinating about this brand is that consumers do not even have to be convinced by the advertisement of the new products the company would launch. Consumers just wait for it. The idea is that they are not selling the products but the brand and the status quo that this brand labels. Ironically, the marketing strategy of Apple products uses a language understandable to the commoners yet its price is not within the budget of a normal consumer.

Still, at the end of it all, this brand is being patronized in the market. From presentations to advertisements, Apple marketing strategy has been in a language people can understand and that is definitely one of the biggest reasons why they are so successful in everything they do (“Apple”). Among technology lovers, if they are looking for something revolutionary, it is Apple.Reference:Apple Marketing Strategy – An Analysis. Aspired Techie. (not dated).
