People mostly go to live shows out of their love for and desperation to see and possibly meet the celebrities, and to have a collective experience participating with the performers (Fine).

Some people also go to live concerts out of their curiosity to witness and capture any awkward, strange, or embarrassing moments in person because if there would be some, they are sure to be edited out of the televised version.
