Since my elementary school, my parents were fond of traveling and taking vacations. My hobby then, and even today, was traveling, especially far from home. The few opportunities I had of traveling from my country remained eked for a long time. When it was time to take a vacation from the country, I looked forward to a wild experience, places far from towns or cities. The fact that these places offered me an opportunity to escape the congested and noisy town life was the main reason why I looked forward to these experiences.

However, in one rare experience, I loved The Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington. This is one of the places that I frequent even today for a number of reasons. The beautifully trimmed hedges and well-maintained flowerbeds are part of the reasons why I love the hotel. Walking along the pavements of the hotel gives the feeling of a summer walk at a hotel in an upcountry place. It is not due to the luxurious feeling that one gets after walking into the hotel, but the feeling of being in a different world in the city.

Every time I step into this hotel, I get a feeling of relaxation and peace of mind. As I grew up, I realized that I love good food. Uniquely prepared and with a cultural mix, such food makes me long to visit a hotel countless times. This is another reason why I love The Dupont Circle Hotel. Their food, uniquely prepared with a different cultural mix made me want to visit the hotel again. Especially their choice to serve healthy food to the customers, free of fats and sugars made me love the hotel.

The hotel also presents a wide range of games, some of them my favorites, such as chess and table tennis. They still have the same staff as they had then. I became fond of one of the attendants, a friendly and jovial woman who made me love the hotel even more. Even at my tender age, she played table tennis with me in the games room, as I narrated my various ordeals in traveling around the world. Even to date, I visit her, just to have a word with her frequently.
