Inequality Presentation of information to the Audience Inequality describes misappropriations of benefits in the social sectors of life. This involves the denial of opportunities to others while others are appropriated for such opportunities in the life systems. The deprivation and appropriation of the social benefits to the people is all that defines social inequality. Inequality can be characterised by the different forms and aspects of misappropriations. There are economic inequalities, health inequalities, income inequalities, educational inequalities, wealth inequalities among others (Rosenblatt 247-249). All these present the social welfare of different people in the determination of the inequality levels within communities. The impacts of inequalities of all sorts leave life unbearable on the disadvantaged and marginalised. All forms of inequality have a root cause in the social situations within the respective environments. The people in the marginalised communities lack economic incentives in their places of residence to cater for their medical, educational, income and economic disparities. Once a person is deprived of the economic incentives by state or authorities in the same capacity, the person will find it hard to get all the possible assets to reduce the value of life economically. Such situations can be triggered by political reasons, geographical locations of the homes, and race or ethnicity (Rosenblatt 237). The problems linked to inequalities are very severe and detrimental in the lives of persons affected. The major outcomes of inequalities are poverty to the marginalised communities, death due to the diseases related to food shortages or imbalanced diets, lack of finances and economic support to fight away diseases in such marginalised areas of the world. There is also a lack of support to help in the fight against diseases; hence, likely to cause great harm to the people, their social lives, their environments and their entire lifestyles. This concept proves for the need to frequently address the issues and related concerns of inequality in the communities and social settings (Rosenblatt 240). Presentation of Information on Inequality The persistence of problems in societies is linked to the actions and trails of inequalities. The problems are deemed to be the potential results of the inequality issues in the societies (Baumert, Gabriel and Rainer 1354-1359). Discrimination of people based on the social classes, race or ethnic group, age, gender, religion, geographical community of standards of morals in the societies, all leading to the misappropriation of economic benefits are evident. The lack of support to the people can be a means of deterring them from the benefits linked with opportunities to come by. Economic inequality, opportunity inequality and financial inequalities are the potential forms of inequalities that cause the other forms, and these are very severe in intense and content to harm the social lives of the people. Statistics reveal that the causes of poverty and hunger in most countries of the world are caused by the inequalities subjected to such regions. Though famines and droughts are always unavoidable, the opportunities of misfortunes brought about by the lack of funds to the regions causes a lot of complications. Yes, there are droughts in some parts of the world, but there are projects which are economically powered with the potentials of eradicating poverty and improving the agricultural production rates of the areas. The prejudice that faces these communities and societies in the corners of the world due to the favouritisms from the decision makers and budget allocators are related to the inequality factors within such economies. The link between poverty and inequality is bridged with very fundamental factors that are key to the occurrences of such misfortunes in the societies. These are the forms upon which discrimination and inequality take place within the societies (Baumert, Gabriel and Rainer 1366). The Root Causes of Inequality and the Consequences of the Same These are linked to the results of the most infecting consequence of inequality, and that is poverty. The existence of poverty is linked to the different levels and forms of discriminations in the societies. The most general form of inequality is the effects of globalisation on the allocation of funds and capital in the communities. The operation of the global system of business is to the effect that some communities without the periphery may get less allocation to the development goals and objectives in the society. Globalisation also causes job displacements as individuals with high academic credentials are introduced into the regions where the occupants do not have any outstanding academic suits. This can lead to poverty as the some people within that line of duty are rendered jobless (Ansoms 728). The history of inequality in the regions may also affect the possibility of inequality reoccurring. There are traces of the rise and falls of the different forms and regimes of inequality in the regions and this may simply entice the proposers of resource allocators. This result may be for the argument that the region is resilient and used to the regimes of inequality. Therefore, the link between inequality and poverty presents itself in the context that people are deprived of beneficial opportunities (Rosenblatt 238). The Squabble of the Civil Rights and the citizenship of some individuals may deprive them of opportunities to benefit from the resources due to discrimination of non-citizens. The non-citizens are deprived of the best opportunities and progressive rights and this hampers them from accruing and exploiting the resources of the state or region. This will lead to inequality in the acquisition of the available resources thus, poverty in the region. The differences in the consumption levels across cultures and social settings deprive the people from equal opportunities in the acquisition of resources to satisfy their needs. If there is to be equal distribution and allocation of resources, then the people or societies with high consumption levels may be highly considered (Ansoms 726). This is based on the differences in the social settings to play very significant roles in indifferently allocating the resources. The effects of war, conflicts and instability, will also greatly affect the prospect of supplying the resources as well as allocating them in areas of such instances. Conflicts may be caused by the inequalities in the economic benefit of the regions entangling. Inequalities in some regions of the world can make persons develop more fear of harm in the areas when planning and allocating resources. This is because conflicts bar people from reaching out to the places where help and resource allocations should be enhanced (Baumert, Gabriel and Rainer 1358). The disparities in the health care centres should be addressed otherwise the intensity of inequality will persist, and the effects would be very enormous to the social environment. Lack of medication to the mentally ill patients due to inequality in health facilities and equipment will ultimately lead to serious underdevelopment as young people struggle in mental illness. The sources of income and trends in the acquisition of wealth present different profiles in the lives of dissimilar individuals in different societies. It is evident that the resources are allocated equally at times and the standards of distribution are evaluated in line to those in the higher level of income and wealth acquisition. This will lead to shortage of resources to individuals with limited abilities of acquiring resources. The political differences also affect the distribution and allocation of resources. The political affiliations in the resource mobilization and allocation directly affect the process. People, on one side of the political arena, are likely to be favoured and the other ones deprived (Ansoms 724). The public opinion on certain issues within the programmes in the resources’ allocations may be biased on certain groups of people. One side of the society may be clearly boosted by the ideas from the public while others may be disadvantaged in the same area. This will lead to inequality in the distribution of resources. People in such societies may be deprived of other issues on the same as opportunities may be counted based on the merit according to the public opinion. This increases the rift between the socially advantaged and the disadvantaged (Baumert, Gabriel and Rainer 1363). Evidence to support the Information Contained The subjects and results of inequality have been in many cases linked with social problems. The problems of inequality have led to the increase in crimes. The persons, who are deprived of the opportunities within the development efforts, tend to resort to criminal activities as they are desperate for money and a means to earn a living. This has catapulted the social problems into a phase as the people involved in crime entice others to join for that is the only friendly opportunity without biases to them. Inequality also leads to social classes and manifestations. This is where people get to gather in groups of given economic level (Ansoms, 727), and are elements of poor economic growth in the social societies. Manifestation involves the operations in societies where different social groups set into associations within the class that they fit and belong. This is very discriminatory as there are no different class integration thus, poor development to lower social classes. From personal experience, in the developing countries the richest people are ever acquiring wealth and resources with all the best and quantitative resources. The problem that deters the process of development in these regions is the gap between the rich and the poor. The people who live in the biased and discriminated regions are tied in a spiral of whirling poverty as they are in many cases deprived from resource access. It has also been evidenced that most regions that are allocated with a lot of resources in these regions are those which already have something in their possession. There is a sounding form of inequality within the rural areas of these countries hence, the underprivileged progress in the development of the rural areas. Inequality has led to a lot of problems within the societies and is a buffer to the process of development in most parts of the world (Baumert, Gabriel and Rainer 1364).
