This book answers any question one has about living a healthy and nutritious life. It explains that this lifestyle is not hard, and people should learn to acclimatize to this lifestyle. The book also explains that adapting to a lacavorism should not be hard or expensive. All one needs is the willingness to embrace this lifestyle. The relevance of the book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle People often assume that being a lacavorist requires them to have an enormous amount of money. Some also argue that these kinds of lifestyles are for people who own large farms and have herds of livestock.

The book clearly shows that this is not the case; one does not need to be loaded to practice lacavorism. There are many farms around people, and the owners of the farms sell the farm products at reasonable prices. Why should someone go for processed food that has no nutrients left because of refrigeration and processing (Salzmann 201)? It is essential to know that the best thing to do is getting vegetables direct from a farm or buying fresh vegetables. The assumption by people that practicing lacavorism is expensive should be obsolete by now.

The book clearly shows that it is cheaper to get fresh vegetables and farm products than to get processed ones. The book clearly explains that to eat healthy and to embrace new nutrition does not mean one has to discard his previous nutrition. This is the biggest challenge people have when the issue of eating fresh farm products comes to the fore. People think about trading their pizzas for the lettuce, but they never give a thought for it when taking their meals. Some people think that having a healthy fresh diet is relentlessly living on vegetables, green leafy vegetables, parsley and other greens they would trade anyway for a scrumptious meal according to their argument (Roth 131).

The book clearly shows that this should not be an issue. People can continue eating what they eat but in a healthy way. One can get fresh beef or pork directly from the farm, and in this case, the person is living a healthy and nutritious life but still eating meat. When it comes to treats like pizza for kids, one can use freshly culled toppings on the pizza. In this case, a person’s lifestyle is not totally changed. The lifestyle is maintained, but in a healthy way, although some of the foods that are taken, for example, fries have to be removed from one’s diet.

When people learn how living healthy remunerates them more than anything else does, they will learn to value the little farm they have at the back of their kitchen (Brown and Janet 121). Growing fresh tomatoes and onions and any other vegetables is quite handy. One does not need to be rich to practice this, the idea of having to be rich for that is senseless and an excuse for living an unhealthy life. The book has shown and explained every fact about living a healthy life, and it is quite handy because Barbara has explained everything and given a real example.

The example is not an assumption or something she imagined. It is something that she practiced to seeing the outcome. It cannot therefore be assumed that Barbara was just writing a story. She wrote facts in her book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle. Everything she wrote is something she practiced with her family. This book manages to capture the attention of the audience. The title Animal, Vegetable, Miracle makes a person want to find out how an animal and a vegetable are
