The path to academic achievement of successful working class students based on diverse worlds Rodriguez (43) noted that, students who seek to achieve successful education should develop strong operation ideals that ensure superior balance between the world of [home and school].

He asserted that, the two worlds are relevant in nurturing holistic students with strong innovative ideals. In particular, home enhances the students moral and the day’s social expectations in comparison to the ancient practices. Young individuals are under obligation to exhibit excellent behavior and embrace particular cultural practices including performance of home activities. These activities are designed to equip students with domestic capacities that are vital in developing sustainable homesteads.

Rodriguez states, “the scholarship boy should identify cultural differences between his home and school” to facilitate his holistic knowledge (Rodriguez 44). School equips students with relevant knowledge on diverse issues that contributes to one’s growth. The scholarship boy asserts, “It mattered that education was changing me” (Rodriguez 46). It enables individuals to review their opinion and gain contemporary insights on various phenomenons that are necessary for development. Although achieving exemplary education for students who are working is a complex task that requires determination and hard work, children should adjust fully to classroom demands.

This is to facilitate habit transformation and enhancement of their thinking capacity to enable development of relevant ideas. As noted, learning is not an ordinary step in growth but establishment of a well-built balance in the [world of home and school] concepts. “Somehow they learn to live in the two very different worlds of their day”. The meaning of the statement Indeed learning to live in the two different world of existence is accepting the ideal scenario and circumstances in life that one is under obligation to embrace in pursuit of success.

Rodriguez presents the concept in his article where he narrates the imperativeness of young school going children’s requirement of striking a viable balance between the [world of home and school] that contributes in transforming their lives (Rodriguez, 43). In short, the statement means that, to achieve success, individuals should establish amicable sense of balance of different worlds that influences their lifestyle. That is, home world that inculcates students with noble family cohesive principles and morals through parents.

The scholarship boy asserts that, realization of his success and attainment of grade four was due to his parent’s initiative to take him to school. He gives credit to his parents and prepares to transform their lives too through education that he acquired in school. The world of school also presented him with the noble dictates of academic growth. How they learn to leave in the two different worlds According to Rodriguez (43) students should learn to live effectively in the two different world to ensure success.

He stated that some essential elements in life that are never learned in [home or school world] but are achievable when persons successfully practice the two concepts. Therefore, ensuring superior balance between the two worlds is critical in advancing performance. This is clear in the statement, “without extraordinary determination and the great assistance of others at home and at school—there is little chance for success” (Rodriguez, 45). These fundamentals explain the significance of living the two worlds in an abundantly way by students; furthermore, it highlights the process of acquiring holistic knowledge.

They should embrace the two worlds presented ideals and understand the advice of their parents and teachers. The scholarship boy says that, his success in education is attributable to the support he received from his parents. Therefore, learning on how to leave the two worlds requires dedication, determination and understanding of the elders or mentors. The extent of truth of Rose’s narrative of his education to Rodriguez Rodriguez’s narrative on education and the need of acquiring effective balance between home and school worlds is greatly related to Rose’s narrative.

The narratives relays insightful information on how to achieve comprehensive education that is crucial for professional development. Evidently, the authors focus on striking a superior balance between [school and home world] learning principles since the two have rich educative incentives that are fundamental for growth. Rose (11) stated that the home, which entails education from parents on diverse issues, is vital for moral and psychological growth. He asserted that, “Schools can be a tremendously disorienting place.

No matter how bad the school, you're going to encounter notions that don't fit with the assumptions and beliefs that you grew up with — maybe you'll hear these dissonant notions from teachers, maybe from the other students, and maybe you'll read them. You'll also be thrown in with all kinds of kids from all kinds of backgrounds, and that can be unsettling—You'll have to shut down, have to reject intellectual stimuli or diffuse them” (Rose 12). There is strong need for the development of vocational education as Rose indicated to foster economic opportunities of learners who perform dismally.

This is to diversify learning in various sectors to improve students prowess especially individuals who cannot perform well in school. Experiences and observations on education Education is a vital in attaining success and must be acquired holistically through conventional means. It is important to note that absolute education is not achieved entirely in classrooms but in various worlds as indicated. It takes the effort of parents and teachers to inculcate superior ideals of life that are sustainable.

This is critical since the home as well as school worlds may be confined to specific guidelines that could be distinct. In particular, schools focus majorly on academic aspect of life without consideration to societal norms, culture and social standings that are communicated through home world. Experience has it that, students that strikes effectual balance between [home and school worlds] performs well in various aspects. They hold strong character traits, values and relevant principles of life.

Conclusion Indeed, working class students find it hard to adjust to the demands of the two worlds; they should embrace their ideals as they allow them to identify cultural, social and monetary differences. The scholarship boy reached a conclusion that, effective balancing between the two worlds enabled him to develop strong character traits that are relevant in the present world and planned to become a teacher with an aim of mentoring others.
