Several Methods of way-outs are discussed here. The United States Chamber of Commerce is a lobbying group of America. It represents the interests of many trade associations and businesses. It is not a part of United States Government. The Chamber is populated with lawyers, lobbyists and policy specialists. Politically, this Chamber is usually considered as a conservative organization. Introduction This report inspects the recent US trend of unemployment problem since the outset of global recession.

It discusses about various factors that distinguish cyclic unemployment from structural unemployment. Usual government policies to eradicate the unemployment are not just sufficient to rub off the structural unemployment. Structural unemployment is often referred to as either skills or jobs mismatch. The workers face the consequence by either being on the wrong side of the job or end up having the wrong skills. The policies should be designed in such a way that people on the wrong side of the job and with wrong skills should be moved to right position.

If unemployment is through lack of demand, then demand should be created through generating spending. Spending has real benefits in present or in the future. Be it wasteful or useful, any spending can generate employment. Larger government deficits either by tax cut or direct spending are the obvious ways to increase spending. Lowering of interest rates and reducing the value of dollars by Federal Reserve Board are the other alternatives to soar up the aggregate demand.
