Deep Ecology In 1973, Arne Naess defined "deep ecology" thereby acquiring a foundation that is theoretical. To him, ecological science involved facts and logic, and could not give an explanation to ethical questions on how human beings should. It was therefore relevant to have an ecological wisdom. The branch that is most recent in ecological philosophy is “Deep ecology,” human beings are considered to be the most integral part of the ecological environment. The philosophy insists on the value of human and non human life interdependency as well as the relevancy of the ecosystem and the natural activities. Deep ecology is a belief, while religion is defined as beliefs that are concerned with nature, purpose and the cause of the universe. As a religion, its dominant tenet of spirituality is that human species are part of the earth and not a separate entity. This paper will argue out that deep ecology is a religion. The main principle of deep ecology is a belief, just like humanity, that the environment which is living has an equal right to blossom and live. It is said to be deep due to its persistence questioning on “how” and “why” and as a result, it is based on philosophical questions which are fundamental on the effects of human beings life as a part of the ecosphere, rather than dealing with the minor view of ecology as a biological science branch. In addition it focuses to stem anthropocentric environmentalism that is based on environmental conservation with an aim of exploiting human objectives which buffers the philosophy of deep ecology. It seeks more view of the world that we leave in a holistic way, and further, seeks an application of life understanding that separates the functioning of the ecosystem parts as a whole. In addition, it seeks to eliminate the issue of supremacy in religion life, of which it is impossible to give concrete evidence that eliminates the existence of God. The happenings in the world alone can tell that there is a supreme power that is in control of the living and the non living. Policies of ecologically take into account only the concerns on pollution and resources depletion. It is relevant to note that there is deeper issues which are involved with the principles of diversity, autonomy, complexity and decentralization in deep ecological movement. The act of referencing human beings in the environment is a favor to the rationale total field image. Organisms have an intrinsic relationship. As a result of this, it dissolves concepts of the human-in-environment. In addition, the ecological field worker has a deep seated respect or the veneration for the kinds and forms of life. Human beings acquire an understanding from within. This kind of understanding is also reserved for other human as well as for narrow sections of life forms. The intrinsic relationship that is within organism in the environment is as a result of the common ground of creation that everything originates from. The world did not just come to exist, but God who is supreme brought this up, and beings cannot be the most relevant to the environment on their own. In addition, the equal right of individuals to live and flourish is clearly intuitive and value of axiom. Furthermore, its restriction to life of human is anthropocentrism with effects which are detrimental on human life quality. The quality pleasure depends on the satisfaction that is received from a correlation which is close with other life forms. The attempt of giving dump ears to our dependency and the establishment of other roles which are master levels a contribution to human alienation. The egalitarianism of ecology claims that the reinterpretation of future research variables on human population levels and loss of life is equally not taken seriously. This is because it is beyond human understanding; the life of human is unclear on how it came to be. It is therefore obvious that we are taken care of by a supreme being who gave breath to the souls on earth and at any time the ability to breathe is taken away. Furthermore, as deep ecology seeks to build on its deep experience, questioning as well as commitment. It is a constitution of an interconnected ecosystem system as per God’s creation. Such that, there is a correlation, whereby each rises and gives support, a mechanism that is within the ecological environment, according to Naess the system is referred to as ecosophy; this is the process that involves evolving, however, it has a consistence philosophy of thinking, being as well as acting on earth and it is based on the wisdom of ecology and harmony. It is possible to rank beings in relationship to their relative values. For instance, it is true that animals have souls which are internal, animals do reason and that why the world has grown as well as the conscious that directs human beings in what they do or decide. As a result of this, God made man to be more superior that all animals across the globe. It is not a universal right for living things to live according to religion, there is a supreme being that controls the life of human being on earth. This is in contrast to the ecological movement, whose view is that it is universal right to live, and it is unquantifiable. There is no species across the globe with to live as well as unfold more than another species. It is said to be a metaphysical idea which is elucidated and that all human race are elements of reality on single unfolding. In addition, deep ecology agrees that human race are members who are part of the biotic community as well as the idea that a thing is usually right when it works towards preserving beauty, stability and integrity of the community which is biotic. The process that involves self realization as well as re-earthling is usually used by individuals to intuitively gain a perspective which is egocentric. There is a notion that is based on the knowledge that the more human beings explore them self, to be identified with others such as individuals, ecosystem and animals the more they realize who they are. The foundation of deep ecology is based on religion, it is therefore my conviction that the universe is as a result of perfect work done by a supreme being and in case of any imperfection that may be seen by the deep ecology it may be as a result of the limitation of the conscious which is finite. In addition, there is a supreme and an order which is perfect in all happenings on earth, in spite of the incoming apparent disorder which may be as a result of human being restrictions. Looking at the essence at which order is, it is in parts of perfect adjustment in subservience to all ends. Where by what is most perfect is one that is complex as a result of the combination of the few ideas that are ultimately, which is thought of a being that is supreme. Thus the great work of man consists of the adjustments of the soul or the sphere of the intellectuals so that it has a similarity which is perfect to the material and natural order of the environment and at the same time exhibit it a relation with the supreme order. The existing possible distraction of the soul of man has caused trouble which is direct, but unless, if souls were metals they could not expand and take on a complex design of the greater universe. The work of human beings is concerned with soul building through their personal will as well as an imagination which is creative under the direction of the supreme power within the universe and can only be the single thought of God existence. It is important to note that the imposition of the human will rather than God’s will, there is a domino impact of action and a reaction that is usually created, and it later leads to perpetual failure. While the information from beings gives motivation, feelings of greatness by individuals or put an individual in a path that is better, the wisdom of human beings will never give man the wholeness and the richness they need. Feeling good in the absence of God, despair and illnesses do wait to rear their ugly heads. The obvious thing is that human thoughts are limited, since, each year there is a new discovery and information that continuously erases the past thinking standards of the past humans race. However, no matter how wide or large the extents of beings knowing about themselves as well as the world that surrounds them they realized that they were wrong eventually. For instance, in most cases, human beings think that they have known everything they needed to know about the world they live in like the regions in space, only to find out that there is a black hole which is a among the undiscovered masses of stars and miles of uncharted territory. It is now knowledgeable to note that a tremendous amount of the discoveries made by the scientist or what the deep ecology philosophers have discovered and term to be true, they later turn out to be fault or even harmful. All knowledge of human beings is temporary since, there is a level of understandings that is higher and shows that the wisdom of man contains some level of ignorance. God is supreme and he has permanent, flawless, and wisdom which is unlimited. God had the only thinking which is genuine, usually it is at its peak, and it is always build up and cannot be destroyed and as well as it is successful. Therefore, as human beings who should not hold on to what discoveries have to say, since they are done by human beings. It is better for beings to seek knowledge, skills as well as ideas from individuals who know Gods wisdom that is unlimited. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than our thoughts” as the book of Isaiah, 55:9, it gives a description of how powerful is God. In the body of God, no matter how much beings can work by getting to conceptualize the design of God on the body of human beings, by taking everything they know on His design thereby multiplying it to trillions and add to infinity, man cannot even have a glimpse of understanding what God has done to the body of human beings. No human being can form another human being, the body of human is not made by man, it is made by the Supreme Being God, and it is very unfortunate for beings to think about how it was crated. Notice that what human beings have made tend to lose their value so fast. Imagine if body parts were like light bulbs, auto parts or even answering machine, we would have to replace them annually or bi annually or even several time within a year and would need to be upgraded or be discarded for a new one. We are indeed lucky beings, Adams and Eve’s prototypes that are still operating normally today and forever, the bodies have maintained their value and have never been obsolete. With my conviction, I can say that God is not only a producer but an executive director as well. He has the power that led to the creation of all living and the non living things across the globe. With His power, He is in charge and takes control, creates, heals, and manages every part of the body system. Human beings’ having the body is miraculous gift that is awarded to them by the Supreme Being God; it has a relative period in life time. Showing respect to the body as a gift from God beings show love to God. However, this is not the case in most human lives since respect has been distorted and it has been taken over by stress, inadequate nutrition, time wasting and inactivity. The irrelevancy is common knowledge and can be seen through the way human being utter their words. For instance, truthfulness on nutrition is not known by how relevant a plant can be to the body when ingested or when they are in a certain geographical place but they have been known by how fast they can be prepared and be ingested, as a result it has led to fast food. Ecology has had its own historical roots of crisis; this has offered Christianity an alternative view, where by all creatures are equal in the eyes of God. Deep ecology provides a philosophical way, in which human beings can look after the environment by getting to discover the unknown, this will then allow beings to manage and sustain the environment. It also protects the action of human beings on earth as a result of civilization that is leading to global warming. The former biosphere has had pressure as a result of the human activity and this what deep ecology tries to explain on how the world is no longer natural as it used to be. It is the hopes of deep ecology to not only influence the nature of human beings across the globe towards the ecological system but to the change of the political and social life as well.
