Other considerations would be workspace, budget and other variables that have to be taken into account in order to ensure the success of the venture. The five variables of project management such as scope, time, cost, quality and risk will need to be evaluated thoroughly. If the CRM is to be implemented in the corporate offices, it has to be defined on how the new software is targeted to be used and up to what extent. The target users of the new system will have to be distinct. The boundaries need to be defined in order to make sure that the project will not go beyond its target use or users. No unnecessary training or resources will be wasted to those that will not be affected by the change. Time-frame has to be defined as well. By changing the current equipment or hardware being used, factors such as how long it will take for the current equipments to be replaced with new equipments and before it will be fully functional must be taken into consideration. Also, how this system upgrade will affect the work of the employees that may cause it to being interrupted, and if so, how this will impact the service of the company and how much will the effect be on the profit. There also has to be a contingency plan to make sure that work is not interrupted. Cost is evaluated by how much the cost of the project will be for it to be completed and fully operational and how long it will take for the company to earn back the outflow they will incur from the project or the return of investment (ROI). The tangible and intangible benefits of the expenditure must also be weighed in order to determine if whether these benefits will be advantageous in the long run. The success of the project is also determined by the quality of yield that it produces. The expectations on the venture must also be set in order to ensure that the said project will be able to meet the standards and goals set by the company by making sure that the information provided is accurate and timely. It also has to be such that the new system is easy to use by all the employees who will affected by the change. Finally, the risk factors have to be taken into a lot of consideration such as the potential problems or complications that may arise during the completion of the project. Budgetary concerns as well as outputs that may be affected due to the change of the systems and/or software. Another thing to consider is the money that will be needed to carry out the project whether it will be from an investor, from the company funds or borrowed. The company has to have sufficient funds in order to ensure that additional expenses and unforeseen costs can be covered and addressed. There are factors that must be taken into consideration in order to ensure that the project selected delivers the best business value. One of which is the cost of such venture as mentioned in the previous paragraphs, the benefits the project will give the company and how these benefits correlate to the target that the company is aiming for. There are tangible and intangible benefits that can be quantified or can be seen as something that can give a quantified result in the long run. These benefits can be computed against the benefits of other project options and weigh which of those options can produce a more profitable output for the company.
