22 October Reflection If human beings stopped causing the extinction event, it wouldhave caused an imbalance of the ecosystem. There would be a greater population of animals than there are today. They would have required more grass and flesh depending upon whether they were herbivores or carnivores. In either case, the resulting situation would have many negative implications for the human beings. Vegetables and the meat of such animals as cows, deer, goat, sheep, and lamb are two of the prime sources of food for the human beings.

The greater population of animals would cause both to reduce; herbivores would eat vegetables and grass and carnivores would eat the herbivores, thus leaving behind little food for human consumption.
