For instance the application of technology in the student management and the learning process is a noble move. The change takes the form of new policies, strategies and regulations in the institution.

It takes time for the change to be understood and adopted by the institution stakeholders. The balance scorecard tailors all the business activities to organizational vision and mission through a management system. The system enhances the improvement of the internal system of an organization. Additionally, the framework monitors the organizational performance regarding the goals and objectives of the firm. The non-financial variables are also part of the performance framework to create a balanced view of the affairs of an organization (Makhijani and Creelman, 2011).

The university also utilizes student information system, which helps in the management of the student services ensures that the customization of the services and products offered to the students. The exercise culminates in the promotion of literacy in society. The teaching staff in the university should be qualified in their fields of teaching. Therefore, it is incumbent upon the lecturers to undertake appropriate training to fit in the teaching exercise.

Strategic PrioritiesThe strategic priorities for the university include the provision of hostels with guaranteed breakfast, lunch, and supper for all the university students. The priority enables students to have a favorable environment for studies given that students will not concentrate without meal provisions. The fully equipped hostels also provide a favorable environment for the students instead of seeking external hostels, which do not guarantee all the meals. The provision of free transportation for the students from their hostels to lecture hall and back is a strategic move to discourage any student absenteeism.

The strategy also serves as a motivation factor for the students given that it saves the students the cost of commuting to lecture halls. The strategy also helps the students to manage time prudently.MeasuresThe university focuses on the adequate provision of university iPods to the students in order to enhance the learning process. The use of iPods among the students enables the students to embrace technology in a learning setting (Makhijani and Creelman, 2011). It also makes learning exciting for the students and tutors.

The data-show and smart-boards help in the presentation of learning information in a systematic manner.TargetsThe university aims at maintaining the AACSB Accreditation, given its past outstanding performances. The accreditation earns the university good reputation. As a result, many potential students from the university are attracted and encouraged to enroll in the higher institution of learning. The performance accreditation is an icon of excellence for an institution (Makhijani and Creelman, 2011).

For that reason, the university considers such achievement a great feat. The institution also aims at maintaining the government fee provision for all its students. In this regard, the university ensures compliance to government rules and regulations, and ensures that the students enjoy the government subsidies for posterity.InitiativesThe institution has undertaken many initiatives, including the establishment of small libraries and small super-markets in every hostel. The initiative enables the students to access learning material any time they want.

The initiative encourages the students to learn and research on various subjects of concern. The supermarkets enhance accessibility to basic items, hence saving time for travelling to far processes to shop for the items. The university also offers free Wi-Fi connectivity for the students.
